Damn, you went 2 steps down the Norwood ladder. I admit, I am jealous :D

Congrats for your decision to go for Oral spironolactone. This really takes balls. I am really curious to hear about your experiences. It is good you start at a rather low dosage. Can you tell me in a few months whether you gained weight on OS? Good Luck, bro!

I'm confused about the Norwoods. Sometimes appears to be a NW2 other NW3. My hair is very long and it's deceiving. I need to cut it to revaluate my head.

At least i'm better than two years ago (when people called me The Clown) when i had the same hairstyle than now.

Yesterday i was very sick. Today i shed lots, lots of hair. It was not of oral spironolactone because i've been like that before. But i'm will quit oral spironolactone. At least for two months.

I started to shed a lot and the flaking thing is worse. I think i'm with psoriasis.

I'm still loosing lots and lots of hair. Dont know why but sundelly hair start to fall. Even before i started oral spironolactone.

I'm with short hair now and i lost some of what i gained. I've lots of itch, even after washing my hair and my scalp is very red with some white flaking skin attached.

My destiny is traced. I'm doomed to be bald. Its time to explore the fantastic world of bald head :p .

I just came out from the shower. I lost tons & tons of skin with hair because of this stupid disease. Still i've some attached to my scalp. Bah i hate it. But there are other things worse.

I thinking in join the sly bald army. I've got someone who will lent me a digital camera. Soon i'll post pics of flaking skin.

Dude, I feel very sorry for you for the first time. Up until now I thought you are an annoyance and shallow, mental etc. but now I just feel sorry for you. It must be sh*t hard to get good regrowth and then loose it all again. I'd gone mental if that had happened to me. Luckily I've only lost hair 'til now, no regrowth. Good luck to you and I sincerely hope you will get through this sh*t.

Also check my reply on the seborrhoeic dermatitis thread you started on general hairloss discussions to see if that's anything of interest to you. I suffer of this skin condition aswell.

Thanks for your helpful words. Yesterday at night i had to go bed soon because i was with the sensation of flaking skin spreading in my head. Like my scalp was trying to lift in layers like rotten wood by moistness.

I put Sucadermil which stopped the spreading but the smell is horrible.

sounds unbelievably painful mate. Do you think in any way that the lotion you use to relieve this issue counts against the effectiveness of your male pattern baldness treatments?

I've been on this situation for 6 years. The first three years were horrible. I lost greats amounts of hair due to it. With this cream and shampoo i became better though with attacks.

IBM, have you been to a good derm yet? I think the skin condition of your scalp is the main cause of your hairloss. I was shocked after seeing the second pic. I feel you brother.
