1. Will not change anything, cause nothing is 100 % sure. So what you are going to do ? use a medication just in case it happen ? lol, we are not talking about cancer
2. Again, useless, gene therapy for male pattern baldness is extremly far, far, far away. We are talking about 50 years, as sooner. It simple will not happen any time soon. Simple do a reasearch about actual gene therapy, do a history research about since how long we was talking about gene therapy, and you will understand.
1. Agree to disagree. The more information you have to make a decision the better your decision will most likely be. This is another TOOL to help discover balding as early as possible. Just like checking hair line pictures over time, this will help make decisions. It's not a yes or no just because you have family history.
2. I work in genetics so I like to think I'm at least somewhat aware of the past and future gene therapy. Have you heard of CRISPR-CAS9? It's look quite promising for changing the genetics of living animals.
