Hi,
I think it is important to tell my story hair. I am 24 and I was loosing too many hairs. I thought it is definitely baldness (no one suffers from male pattern baldness in my family) and thus I went to doctor. My first doctor told me that i am suffering from Telogen Effevelium, which is temporary hair loss. I had lost 12 Kgs in 3 months through dieting and i had heavy vitamin D3 deficiency. She gave me Minxodil for stopping my worry and also for making my other hairs better. I was still having more hair loss (i didnt know it can happen due to Minoxidil itself!) So, i went to another doctor for secondary advice. He put me on male pattern baldness regime and gave me propecia. I took it for one day and my thing was very sensitive to this. No erection whole damn day! I stopped it immediately. Still it took 1.5 months to get my same erection and i took it just once in life.
Thankfully, My D3 deficiency went away in 3 months but hair fall still persisted. I was again worried and went to my first doctor itself. She told me not to worry. My hairs are losing but that is high regrowth rate of minoxidil. It gave me very good hairs. She said not to stop it- not because i have male pattern baldness but because some follies are activated and why not have hairs like you are 16
The main central argument of whole story is- In male pattern baldness, there is a definite region (temple, crown or hairline) which have patches/ or recedes or general hairloss from a particular area. In case of other like Alopecia Areata or Talogen Effoveleum- It is GENERAL HAIR LOSS FROM EVERYWHERE and thinning as a whole. Best test fro this is- put fingers in your hair and comb using fingers. if you loose hair from different parts of scalp- it is probably not male pattern baldness. Why am i saying this?- Because some people take Propecia or fall in hands of wrong capitalist doctors and get trapped in financial and sexual burden. Stay Safe!
