*Please understand the grammar issue.* please dont attack me. im just here to share thoughts.
I am asian ( korean ) 28years old, 175cm, 65 kg.
*based on my personal experiment, i believe both testosterone and estrogen causes hair loss in men. Estrogen might be good for females with ovary, but males are different i think. Increase test. Is more harm for frontal whereas estrogen is more harm for vertex. ( no facts to back up just my opinion. ) i tried with herbs amd supplent no hrt inject. Also, progesterone in men causes hair shedding in my experience. Some say increase progesterone inhibits 5-alpha or whatever but my experience more shedidng but less oily less acne.
I tried relora and holy basil. Result were they both increase shedding. Finasteride caused insane acne and excessive oily skin which i assumed could be reflex hyper androgenicity so i stopped. I tried fiber and flaxssed to boost shbg but i think increased shbg = increased hair fall and body hair growth and thining of the hair ( not shedding ) tried phytosterol = more hair loss. Omega 3 = more hair loss. High protein = scalp itchy, hair loss. High carb same. You name it i tried basically everything except topical stuff like RU.
I think we have to lose fat especially abdominal fat first before we take anything that can affects our hormone and other stuff. It is hard to lose fat becuase of adrenal gland. I think this is also relateded to hair loss.
2 cup of spearmint tea a day will decrease your androgen, but you will experience sides.
It's too late here i will continue talking if there is reply.
Which hormones and factors do you guys think that we should consider?
What affects hair loss (mbp) ?
- dht, diabete insulin resistence, cortisol imbalance, collagen, thyroid, adrenal glad fatigue, liver function, depression, etc.. -
- possible Symtoms others than hair loss -
Skin thining due to decrease in collagen formation ( especially hand, neck, scalp), dark circle under eyes due to skin thining, more body hairs,
New moles, dark spots around neck or back or hand, sunken eyes, yellowish bubbly urine, constipation, abdominal fat, brain fog, eye color and sight change, palpitation, fatigue, adult acne, oily skin, etc
In my opinion, as human gets older metabolism decreases and our ability to handle stress tend to decrease. These factors leads to abdominal fat development especially visceral = diabete, cuases homone imbalance (more estrogen) and insulin resistence (lack of nutrient to the cell)
. Dhea decreases, muscle mass decreases leads to (not atrophy yet) sensitiv to dht increases.
- follicle sensitive to dht : some say gravity theory, but i disagree with that theory. Because most of balding men tend to have more hair on dorsal of hand which is not effected with either tension (some say dht gets trapped becuz of the tension mostly in the frontal and vertex area) or gravity theory.
