No money does not replace looks you are being extreme with quasi modo and danny devito.

I think you are also misunderstanding as if is just the money.

There is something about men who make it here in NYC on that top tier level that is powerful to people..NOT every guy like this of course not.

power attracts some women from days of Gangus Kahn...it's not a new concept.

Again its a moot point because these guys who are mgtow bullshit are probably mostly basement dwellers and are worried about picking up the check at red lobster.

It's not going to apply to the average guy making 100 grand a year (In NY this is not a lot of money).

I am not talking about NYC and my examples are far from extreme; this is exactly what the people I'm responding to (thought Occulus not as much) actually believe. If you suffer watching any of the MGTOW videos or similar ideas that predate it in popular culture, there is no mention of looks, personality, mutual interest, height, etc. because they believe these things are irrelevant in female attraction; it's all about how much money and power you have and if that dips below a female's requisite threshold, she'll just pack up and leave you for a richer guy. They believe women are incapable of loving men; only the things they provide.

There is no shortage of men out there, from the skyscrapers of NYC to the tiniest village in rural Alberta who genuinely believe "women don't care about looks, bruh".

Also, you're only looking at this in "wealthy elite" rather than the "wealthier than me" which to do so is to miss the point.

We can all say that the power and status of the rich and famous is a desirable thing in a partner, but it is all around you that women who are dating an attractive tradesman aren't actively seeking to leave him for a fat, balding real estate agent just because he makes more money and drives a Lexus; it's an idea completely detached from reality.

When most women agree to go out with you, they have no idea how wealthy you may or may not really be and how many "resources" you can offer her; they go out with you because they like you and could possibly even see themselves having sex with you.

I have stated clearly many times it is probably environmental

And that a guy making 100 grand a year or some dude in Belgium working Sales is not what I am talking aobut.
And I doubt its what occulus is talking about.

I know, good for them, if that's what they want and can get it.

My best friend mingles with the high society in Paris now.

Girls won't talk to you if what you're wearing doesn't cost thousands of euros.

And apparently, yes, they can tell whether the tie you're wearing costs 5€ or 500€.

I wouldn't want anything to do with that kind of people.

Well they would have nothing to do with you either..so who cares? I don't know why it bugs you.

When these people consider that you're not worth their time as a human being unless you're dirty rich.

I pity them and I'm going to say it. It doesn't bug me more than that.

Those people run society so unfortunately we can't ignore them.

As flies to wanton boys are we to the wealthy, they crush us for their sport.

You are painting a whole tax bracket with one brush and it's silly.

That is like saying all poverty people are lazy blood sucking parasites--also silly.

I know lots of people who were not able to find work in their field after graduate school, who didn't need loans for school, or who didn't work that hard during school. I'm very surprised by your three comments.

Although I wasn't the best student in the world (lazy), most of my high school friends were near the top of the class. They all worked hard, hard enough to do very well anyway. Loans... yeah I don't think I knew anyone who didn't need loans for grad school. I'm actually surprised that you knew lots of people who didn't. Are they very rich? Or maybe they went after working for a few years, most people I knew went straight from college. I myself needed loans for grad school.

Oh, I thought you meant loans for college, not for graduate school.

Loans are very common for MBA, Law, and Medicine programmes. Within the sciences and humanities, students typically get paid a stipend and get a tuition waiver.

I worked hard in college but I saw plenty of people who didn't.

Ya I was one of those people. No regrets though, good times. :D

Ya, I meant grad school. Agreed on college, I didn't know many who needed loans.

On the other point, about people not being able to find work in their fields... really? You know lots of people who graduated law school but couldn't find work as lawyers, medical school and couldn't work as doctors? I didn't... I knew a couple of lawyers who decided they hated it but that's something else...

Medical school, I think they make it hard to get in, but easy to stay in.

Law schools though .. it sounds like the apocalypse for that profession right now. There's been a boom in law schools and lots and lots of people have law degrees. People are failing as practicing lawyers and dropping out of the field due to declining wages and increasing competition. Google "law school debt", it's a bloodbath.

Ah yeah I have heard that. I'm an ancient in my 40s... 20 years ago it wasn't nearly as bad a situation I think.
