Having a brother with great hair and a model must really be hard for that person be around. The brother still could lose his hair later but looking at his hair I seriously doubt it. I wonder if the brothers have the same father. As far as the transplant guy, its amazing how a hair transplant that did not seem to make much of difference immediately gave him more confidence immediately. I wonder if any of those guys have posted on this forum. I doubt it because he would have realized the big 3 had more of chance of helping him than changing his diet. Although the mother does not seen to know much about better treatments for hairloss, I think its great how she supports her son with his situation. I still think CCS would have been a better choice for that show along with Taug. And then have the mighty wisdom of s.a.f. set them both straight.

OK
Just watched it on youtube and what can I say it may not be very informative but it was interesting to watch.
For all those people who say its no big deal ect there was the proof. Going to a club and everyone comes up to rub your bald head I've witnessed that so many times.
And the other guy at that party being stared at like some kind of freak and he had to try and explain the fact that he's going bald.
I've heard of hatprisoners but a sunglasses prisoner? thats a new one.

And that model brother of the 22 yr old, what an a**h** I hope he gets his face burnt off in a fire. He had a great NW1 and other genetics while his brother got dealt the sh*t hand.
And even his mother thinks that the baldness is somehow his fault and not her own shitty genes that shes passed to him so she takes him to some bullshit therapist who rips him off and offers him false hope.

S.a.f, I think the mom is blaming the balding son's lifestyle because her other "perfect" son is not balding. Trust me, I hope the kid gets a good education and stays out of trouble. I think that might be more important for him than anything else. However, I will agree with you, coming from a person with never having a hairloss problem until much later in life, I really felt sad what they where going thru. However, I had acne at their age and I could tell you stories of how bad I was treated. I once had a big zit near my mouth and I worked as an optometric technician and the patient did not want me doing their pretesting because they thought I had herpes. I know acne and balding are definitely not the same because one can be treated and concealed easier than the other. However, they both can cause alot of grief for a young person trying to fit in with "Barbie and Ken"

Was that the entire show (on Youtube)? I thought the True Life's were usually an hour long.

Anyway.....that was pretty lame indeed. The fungus guy was an idiot - how funny that he got arrested for public intox. Like we couldn't see that coming...His hair didn't look that bad either. I think he could have grown it out quite a bit and been fine. The shaved look made the balding even more noticeable IMO.

The other guy probably got a crap hair transplant, sadly. Is this Dr. Rose even well known as a hair transplant surgeon?

Rose is quite well known, not the best but he's ok. However that guy was clearly on his way to a NW6 unless he's on finasteride then he's going to need more surgeries and will probably run out of donor.

Did you see the clip at the start where the girl was pulling off the guys baseball cap to expose his balding, you could hear other girls in the background laughing. That was painfull what could he do?
Just image a guy pulling down a girls top to expose her flat tits - he'd be arrested.

Dr House the mother is kidding herself, dont you think the 'perfect' son probably has the same lifestyle as his balding brother?

I saw on youtube. I think the documentary show how hair loss sufferers feel and how they are treated. Like garbage. One thing to note is chubby girls like bald guys. And all gourmetstylewellness.com users were talking bad about chubby girls. Bastards!

That guy was getting constantly ripped on, how is anyone expected to be confident in that situation. If you're constantly being told that theres something wrong with your appearance you're going to feel that there is - no exceptions.

They were feeling very miserable. How can they be confident? How?

S.a.f, I am sure the brother's lifestyle is the same as his balding brother. I just wonder if they had the same dad.
Obsidian, you usually like to "read into things". What's up with you? You seem pretty down lately. By the way, you look better with shorter hair then when you had super long hair. Try the Hair Complex, you will feel better with it.
IBM, if you want confidence, you are going to have to see the WIZARD to get it. So far he has given away a heart, courage, and a brain. You don't need to ask for a full head of hair because you already have that  , so ask for some confidence.

Look at the guy who have a model brother. He looks like a zombie. He's confidence is so low. Even his mother treat him like a zombie.

He does not look like a zombie. He looks frustrated and depressed because he had to change his whole lifestyle and did not grow any new hair. You want to see zombies, watch Dawn of the Dead, or play Resident Evil 5. You will see lots of zombies with NW1s.

This program was a joke. Watching this I thought, great now people are going to think guys go bald because they have fungus on their scalp from not washing. I could hear the collective "Eeeww" coming from all the girls who were watching this show. That whole fungus thing was so counterproductive to teaching people about male pattern baldness and does us no favors, just the opposite. And where did they mention the big three? Thanks MTV for doing a big disservice to the bald community. The first guy was kind of a tool but I felt sorry for his situation- ignorant mother. The second guy was the one my heart went out for. Just seeing him at that party was like watching someone get thrown to the lions. At least it shows the kind of treatment that bald guys get, for all you people on here who think this kind of stuff only happens in our imagination. And as far as reading into things go. What else are we supposed to do to cope and try and make sense of our situation? Are you suggesting that we just ignore our problems and that will make us feel better?
