Can anyone give me a say so with more than just preference about whether dermaroller or stamp is better or if it matters?

I figure stamp but I’d like a lil research or back up opinion if possible

Expected Milestones and Timing
  • Our regenerative biology program is currently progressing into a pre-pivotal pilot optimization study expected to start in early 2018, with a pivotal trial expected to begin in the second half of 2018

I bet there will be some super optimistic "we can grow 80% of original density" announcement now that they have more time and space for hyping themselves up

So it would seem that initiating the pivotal trial includes whatever is required to get it ready and it actually begins in the second half of 2018!

thats obviously what I also understand even though we can understand "to initiate" in different ways.
but I meant that's why there could be a misunderstanding regarding what SamFT said

Why the fk do we always split hairs on this forum?

I mean the shear amount of over-analysis over word choice and grammar is astonishing.

The simple truth is that they are vague for a reason! It's just politics!

The simple truth is that there is no universal obligation for them to meet whatever deadline they vaguely claim! They just made that sh*t up and they can easily change it! Spoiler: companies, research groups, PEOPLE...the often DO change plans, even if they first wanted to stick to the original plan!!!

How many times have companies, even Follica themselves, changed plans or delayed? Many times!

If you are a company and you want to seem capable and competent, of course you have to sound like you have a plan and know what you are doing, but you also don't want to be burned for "breaking promises" if things don't go as planned! It's just life and politics!

I guarantee you that if they had 100% certainty about dates, they would just tell everyone! Look guys, I can deliver on time!! I'm awesome!!

You're right they don't have obligations, but it's makes them look unprofessional and the consequences are loss of interest from the consumer market. Are you more inclined to believe a company that keeps its word or one that keeps changing it?

I know it's difficult from their part since unforeseen circumstances occur all the time. It's just that my teenage years will be gone pretty quickly and I really wish companies wouldn't change their forecast dates so quickly.

Right. That is what I am saying. Given that they risk their reputation, of course they will be vague. "We envision the start of the development and planning of the trial for determining the safety of the product so that we can then do optimization soon" Wow bro that could be 10 months or 10 years.

Are you more inclined to believe a company that keeps its word or one that keeps changing it?
I mean the answer to that is trivial. But add ambiguity, soften the blow of the bad news by putting an optimistic spin on it, and give it some time and everyone is still sitting there like an a**h**, waiting. Source: replicel threads, brotzu threads, follica threads, DONALD TRUMP and many other politicians who still persist far longer than they logically should.

It's just PR management. My main point is that if we realize that, we should also see that bickering about what "soon" means for Brotzu or what "2018" means for Follica is pretty useless. It's a circlejerk. A coping strategy. It's just us waiting. Companies will always hedge deadlines because it's the smart thing to do.

We will be lucky if we see this treatment ever and for it to go from where it is now to available in 2020 would be quite astonishing.

The PureTech website now lists the pivotal trial "in the first half of 2018" under Expected Milestones and Timing - so kinda good news.

To be honest, there's a lot of guys on the forums who genuinely do care for the well being of others. Let's not pretend that guys like Noisette, Desmond and others havent gone out of their way to help out in any way they can. I'm sure that there are many researchers that have good intentions... and if copious amounts of cash is involved, all the more reasons to get a product out there.

I'm not saying that there aren't snake oil salesman like that Nigam guy, but you know.
