Religion's narratives are still valid, always have been, this is why they survived many kingdoms, many empires that have been burned to the ground.
Yet it's just a goddamn book, it shows how powerful those religious narratives are.
As I've asked before in this thread: what's an alternative to religion that's proven to work?
Try to answer that one you heretic!![]()
Just noticed this.
I'll let you think about the irony of your analogy.
I guess I'll have to stop revealing that some of my ideas come from him. People should debate the argument.
It's distracting that people try to shame me (come on, you know that's why you're trying to do) with things like "why do you care what that random guy (yeah, sure, believe that) has to say!"
"Think for yourself!" which is impossible to do, none of what you think, none of your ideas are your own, obviously.
It's through debate and dialogue that our thinking and our ideas form. Which is the point of having forums like this one.
Especially to debate ideas that we are not even aloud to speak about in the real world.
You know what my parents usually say when I quote something I read here?
"Where did you read that? On your bloody GourmetStyleWellness forum! What do you care about people you've never seen have to say?!"
"But mom! There is this guy named WhitePolarBear and he really seems to know his stuff!"
Who we going to praise God or Tsugi?
I think a religious upbringing beats a non-religious one every time. All my friends who turned out well had a religious upbringing, and all the people I know who were raised without religion did some pretty fucked up things during their teens.
I don't believe this is a coincidence. We don't have an efficient alternative to religion so I'm going to give my kids a religious upbringing. As a former atheist (I'd say I'm an agnostic now), I know exactly why this idea makes people chuckle.
When the cure is finally a reality, I know the first thing that is going to come out of hair loss sufferers' mouth.
It's going to be an emotional reaction for sure, but I think it's interesting enough to point out.
What primarily motivates Tsuji's team? "Money! Big bucks!" the cynics are going to say. Are you sure that's the only reason?
Food for thought: https://blog.gaijinpot.com/japan-religious-atheist-country/
Not believing in an higher ideal that motivates you to do good makes it harder to achieve great things.
That's just how it is, you can see this on this very forum when some people say "nothing matters anyway, life has no meaning!"
That said, I'm glad that Japan doesn't have all the stupid religious bioethical restrictions though.
This is where the more stupid religious people hinder our scientific progress in the West.
Except that was pseudoscience, almost everyone on this forum agreed on that.
If you knew how our environment had become here in Brussels, you wouldn't say this.
Islam is a real problem to me and my family, they're trying to impose their own law around here and they always have each other's back.
They're directly threatening us in our everyday life, if you have a car accident with a Muslim, they'll force you to sign a statement that you were in the wrong, if you're a woman and you go into certain neighborhoods of Brussels, you'll be harassed and called a wh***, and finally, some of them are f*****g blowing themselves up in crowded public places!
You have no idea of what it's like. Right now I'm hearing a helicopter patrolling, the other day, he was flying around the whole day because a Muslim yelled that he was carrying explosives in his car so they closed the whole neighborhood for hours to deal with the soldier of Allah.
Unhealthy my ***. You should keep that kind of ignorant comment to yourself.
His life has no meaning, besides driving to and from his job, he's just sitting around smoking weed.
He's extremely weak-willed and lazy, so he loves YouTube montages with dramatic music that explain why Hitler was actually a good guy.
His closest friends are all Muslims, so when they tried to convert him, he didn't go the same way than when my best friend tried it with me.
He was like 16 when he converted to Islam, because it was easy, of course he had never read the Quran, still hasn't read it.
It's not only Islam as I've said, he's become a sponge for ideologies, and I mean any ideology that sounds comforting.
That's why he believes in communism, in Nazism and other various conspiracy theories that try to explain reality with ideological shortcuts.
He states that the primary reason he joined Islam is because: "It's simple, life is simple, it made me happier!" All the wrong reasons.
He thinks all you need in life in the Quran and nothing else, everything's in it! "If the Quran says not to eat pork, I won't do it!"
Yep, the stupid kind of religious people, who prays Allah and 5 minutes later smokes a joint while masturbating to xhamster videos.
You're the biggest white knight i've ever seen on this forum. (Actually the second, blackg is holding the title right now)No, not really. But you've clearly evolved a lot as a poster.
I've always enjoyed your viewpoint as you have actually been out there and experienced a big chunk of real life. It gives your argument a huge boost in clarity compared to a keyboard warrior making inferences from movies, evolutionary psychology and Tinder screenshots. It's why you're so effectively able to counter the various misogynists here.
Islam and Christianity are the same, sure, that's why there is currently no problem in Western Europe.
You should educate yourself instead of making lazy broad and utterly false assumptions about subjects you visibly know very little about.

lol H3H3 is a legend. The triggering was only referring to my phrase: "Casual sex doesn't exist for women."
Of course you'd have to be triggered by that statement.
Other than that, you're arguing that sl*ts and good girls have no observable differences in behavior.
And @redpilled and I just disagree with you about this and we've explained why.
Ah come on, the triggered gif was just to mess with you, stop taking everything that goes on here so seriously.
Oh and by the way:

He defended feminists before in one of my posts and he's calling some of us "misogynists" because we're not agreeing on everything women do.zircon isn't a white knight for sure and hairblues posts are useful indeed
at least about her dating experience

That's what my cousin says about The Theory of Evolution.
The Origin of Species is 600 page long and he has read about... 0 page, but he'll tell you exactly what you just said;
"I know enough to filter the bullshit!"
