what else is new?
spironolactone is out of stock a lot lately. I think many people are giving it a try.
Hopefully it will be available soon.

Hi everyone.

Trust me - for every 10 emails we get asking when the cream will be available, I send at least 2 emails to the supplier asking for updates.

We've become their biggest seller, and for good reason (not many sites are so focused on hair loss, so we have a lot of people interested).

The minute they send us a batch of 200 or so, we need to ask them to produce more. We're always pushing them to hurry. This past month they said they'd ship end of October but did not do so, until November 7th. Thus we've been on back order because of them for 2 weeks.

We just got a shipment in today, and apparently it was poorly packaged. One of the jars broke and made a mess on the others in the case. I am having our warehouse people clean them up as much as possible so we can get them out to you all. If they look a little less than perfect, please forgive.

The warehouse gets things onto the shelf and professionally documented usually within 24-48 hours of receipt, so the s5 will be available hopefully today, definitely by Monday.

As always, apologies for the inconvenience. When I see it say "Out of Stock" I freak out as much as you do. Trust me.

Admin, how is that regimen working out for you? I'm interested in maintaining and thickening. I'm a diffuse thinner with no bald spots yet.

I'm also new to this site, so if the answer to this is already posted, please direct me. Thanks.

If you are looking for a substitution of finasteride, I would suggest Revivogen + spironolactone.

Revivogen is a waste of money, don't bother. spironolactone might help a little bit.

Well im no chemist or anything but how would a topical DHT inhibitor work, when DHT is in the blood stream ? (unless the topical reaches to bloodstream then it defeats the purpose) spironolactone isnt a DHT blocker it just binds to the follicule to block the DHT to get to it.

For example i heard they have topical finasteride, and dutasteride aka Flut, or even that RU stuff which i hear is crazy expensive and needs special storage. So i guess what im wondering is......is it possible to even produce a topical DHT inhibitor like finasteride, or dutasteride that only stays in the scalp area.....and would that be enough to stop hairloss.

History has already proved that castrated men don't go bald, so we know what we have to block, the T and DHT. I apologize if these are dumb questions, but i just realized i am lossing my hair and i don't want this to effect my over all life.

I have worked very hard on my physique and i really do feel i have a shot at becoming a decent all natural bodybuilder and get on a few covers of magazines.....i don't want to go internal route because i dont like the idea of messing with my hormones as i continue my lifestyle sport of bodybuiding. If i can't halt it with just spironolactone or maby another topical........then ill just spend money on counsling to improve my self esteem and accept this as the aging process.

For some people Revivogen works.
I have good results with spironolactone.

I think you can make a very powerful argument supporting the general idea that in both humans and animals, locally-generated DHT is much more significant than DHT in the bloodstream. The argument basically goes like this: there have been experiments in both humans and animals showing that the use of topical 5a-reductase inhibitors (ones that had ONLY a "local" effect) were able to inhibit the local sebaceous glands to which they were applied. Clearly, the DHT floating around in the blood had no significant effect. That seems to prove that locally-generated DHT (inside hair follicles) is really the only thing you need to worry about.

Bryan i would agree with that completly it seems to make much sense, because its just that local area that we are trying to fix. The problem is these companies want to make us think that DHT is a bad thing, honestly we need DHT. It is more anobolic and powerfull than regular T. That is probably why their is claims to people's DHT levels (and baldness) accelerating while doing heavy lifting and bodybuilding.

Im an avid bodybuilder and i realize the importance of it, however its also been proving through-out many that i know that you can take finasteride and still make great gains in ones physique.

As of now im banking on topicals to slow it down enough before hair cloning goes commercial.

is spironolactone really good for the scalp? Who uses this, please tell me. Is it a cream? How to be used when you use other topical products like Minoxidil, Spectral, Dermaheal, or any other? Is it like a real cream? That's what I am concerned about. If it is like a cream, it can be a bad idea to use together with other topical products on the scalp.
Thanks!!! Waiting for your reply.

Bryan what do you think of dr lees topical finasteride found in the 6% minoxidil version?

Not much. I'd just swallow it, rather than apply it locally.

Bryan, how much system effect would you suspect the S5 Cream on this site, for example, would have were you to apply it modestly?
