Hey Bash,
4 months. It took 4 months for me to acheive the desired results from Rogaine-- and yes, they are desireable. There was a little shed at first, and a lot of irritation, but those all subsided (Thx to the Nizoral).
You'll notice some results after 2-3 months, but month 4 really shows. Regrowth for the entire first year of use (for some people), then maintenance of that hair.
-- the entire top closed up, and the front has become much more dense (even than the crown-- frontal thining was mostly my problem)
Any growth on the hairline?
Yes, tons. It's really come down a lot. I apply a thin layer of 5% all over the scalp, then the hairline and temples. It works.
Jeffsss,
you're probably having a shed right now. I don't see why you're dropping 30 hairs a day in the shower. It get's better, give it a lot of time, man.
As for dropping the topicals-- why??? You need to be consistent with your treatment. Rogaine's irritation goes away, a lot faster with the Tricomin.
Should you stick with Nizoral? YES! Don't drop that, no matter what, Jeffsss.
