Hi guys,
Is my left side "balding"? (Not sure if that's the word)... it's not "deeper than the right side, but hairline on left side of my head has a stronger "angle" than my right side.
Left side:
Right side:
I only began to notice it this year, so I dunno if it's real or if I just "noticed" something that's always been there.
About Me:
1) East Asian, 42
2) Mom's brothers *did* have receding hairline/balding, but my full-blood brother does not.
3) I also took a genetic test which seems to indicate that "probably" I do *not* have the balding gene ("typical odds of MPD")
4) I *did* go on a "crash diet" restricting calories to around 1,900/day (from average around 3,500/day... I'm a champion eater and can eat 6,000 calories in 1 meal on some days; never been fat but was slightly overweight) and had *lost 22 pounds in around 6 months* when I started to notice my hair.
5) I've seesawed on the same diet for another 6 months; so in other words I've been on the diet for around 1 year.
I do *not* cut meats (I love meat!) while dieting, but tend to cut overall, and go on a high-meat binge day maybe 2x a week now. But still, average less than 1,900 calories per day (from previous 3,500 or more)
Any advice appreciated...
