What's up with me?

Hi Guys!

I knew about this forum for a long time but I thought that this is the time to ask something.

I'm 25 and balding since 17-18.After trying different shampoos,diets,etc..
I decided to give finasteride a try.I've been on it for 2 months now and I'm using a shampoo of brand "Vichy" with aminexil in it.
First 2-3 weeks I had testicle aches, reduced libido and a sick looking hair. Now,I have no side effects and people whom I last saw 3-4 months ago now say : Your hair looks much better, what's up?
So what's the problem ?

1 - I haven't noticed a heavy shedding
2 - My hair is longer than it was 3-4 months ago (1.5 - 2 inches longer)
3 - I think I'm losing less hair than before

Am I fooling myself or is it possible to see results this early? I don't feel the itch or burning and I'm not using Nizoral.Am I lucky or this thing is not working ,it can all be psychological. Can this aminexil shampoo be this much effective ? My hair looks a bit fuller and darker than before.
I heard that finasteride is effective after at least 3 months,so what do you think about my case ?

Thank you all for your response.

It's possible, however, noticeable thickening of the hair is unlikely at the 2 month mark. Think of it this way: the hair you see is a reflection of it's health 4 months ago when what's visible has protruded through the scalp and it's out of it's resting phase. Now, SHEDDING, or cessation of, would be noticeable at the 2 month mark. Sounds like things are going good for yah..keep it up mang.

Two Proscar clones from Turkey

I don’t know if this info will help somehow but I made some research and found out that two generic medicaments identical to Proscar are produced in Turkey. First one is Dilaprost from Biofarma. It comes in 30 and 100 tablet boxes and costs about 22 $ and 63,5 $ respectively. Second one is Finarid from Nobel, which comes in 28-tablet boxes and costs about 21 $. And yes, each tablet contains 5 mg of Finasteride.

I am interested in knowing the relationship of HGH and DHT. If anyone is knowledgeable here, please elaborate.

I guess I'll have to stick to double quarter pounders with cheese as my main source of HG for the coming days...

Getting back on Propecia

I was on Propecia/Proscar for about three years, then stopped for two. Becoming quite annoyed by thinning scraggly hairs in what's left up front ... really getting impossible to maintain. I don't expect to regain a mop top, just to thicken up what's there. What are the chances it'll work?

finasteride works for most folks.. Minoxidil also works for most folks. The combo is very effective. Add Nizoral and you have the best of what has been proven to work.

See the research section of this website for the details.

IM 17 AND MY HAIRLINE IS HORRIBLE!!

Hello.... Here's someone in desperate need for a decent and effective remedy.. !! I just turned seventeen and I've been watching the hair fall out for about 5 months now...... SO, With the fact that I am still in my adolescent age, I'm not sure if I should resort to chemicals or what the hell I can do??
I'm in quite a predicament as I have the face of a 13 year old and the hairline of many of 30 year old men for chrissake!!
Is there anything on the face of this planet that I can start using.. Or hey maybe there is a chemical (propecia or whatever) that would be safe for me? THANKS A LOT FELLOW HAIR LOSS VICTIMS
( My e-mail is: [email protected] if you'd be kind enough to contact me with some ideas :) )

Get to a good physician to rule out underlying illness. Then come back here if it really is early onset male pattern baldness.

Good luck and hurry up!

Wow, someone must have read the book "How to get people on discussion forums to not listen to your idiotic banter by typing in real large annoying font and sounding desperate and exasperated"

Hi Trevor

Defintely see your doctor first - if you think he's not up to it, then make an appointment with a trichologist / hair specialist.

That way you'll know for certain and you'll be able to treat your condition appropriately, rather than guessing.

BTW - if it turns out to be male pattern baldness you're in a great position to halt it - so relax and get the checkup.

Good luck !

With all due respect, how the hell did you come up with that mixture of treatments? And how do you have time for a life if you are tending to all these things?

Suggestion-dump most of your regimine and get a Kawasaki Ninja! You will go faster and have more fun!

It's sexy like a woman, but you don't need to cuddle with it after you have your way with it. My type of woman!

I work from home and I spend no more than 5 minutes three times a day dealing with my regimen.

I have a regrowth agent, antiandrogen, 5aR inhibition and SOD covered.

I'm getting very promising results even after just 3 months with no side effects whatsover. My scalp is in great health.

My aim with this regimen is to attack DHT from all angles whilst getting good regrowth. As soon as better AA/5aR topicals become available I'll drop dutasteride, knowing that in the intervening time I've regrown as much hair as possible whilst maintaining a good anagen/telogen ratio.

I have a chrome yellow 2002 6R with a Yosh pipe, seat cowl and zero gravity shield. What a great bike and the ladies love the look!

PS-Be sure to get some great riding gear to protect you in the unlikely event some butthead cuts you off!
