Puffy Nipples, Another Chapter Of This Horrible Story.

So I've been having puffy nipples for the last few weeks but I didn't want to open a thread right away. They are showing most when my body is warm. If I'm cold they barely get puffy or not at all. I don't want man boobs but I don't want to be bald either.
I'm ~8.5 months on 1.25mg/day. It sucks because I haven't had the results I expected.
I'm also bulking up quite heavily, I gained 6kg/13.2pounds in the last 3.5 months. I know this can make your nipples a bit puffy too but that would be a big coincidence, would it not? I don't have a history with puffy nipples.

What should I do?

Also, my nipples were a little bit itchy but I never experienced (chest) pain. And there's no hard tissue behind my nipples either.

You do realise your taking a drug that promotes the female dominant hormone estrogen. First puffy nipples then your gland becomes enlarged and starts producing breast tissue that cant be removed without surgery or heavy dose of letro ( estrogen suppressor with loads of sides )

So? What are you saying? My female hormone is too high or my male's too low? What are my options?

Your hormones are probably out of balance due to taking finasteride . Your estrogen is likely sky high if your getting puffy nips. Go to doctor and get total test, free test, progesterone and estrogen levels checked.

Your options are keep going and run the risk of growimg permanent breast tisue

Or change treatments

This is exactly what happened to me too on Finasteride. If you don't immediately stop it won't go away without taking other drugs either.

Also the piffy/itchy nips is first.. next comes sore nipples and tender chest... then comes hard lump and breast tissue.

Even if you stop now you should do some research in to nolvadex to combat the gyno developement

I've been a little depressed because of my hair situation but I still feel manly in general. I'm actually getting stronger and bigger in the gym. And I'm socially active. But I'm so self consious, always have been, being bald is one of my biggest fears. And now I'm getting backstabbed again, this time by finasteride.

Yea but I also read stories about puffy nips never transitioning into real gyno.

High estrogen can cause puffy nipples without actual gland growth. This varies from person to person but elevated estro levels CAN lead to pseudo gyno.

And yes, weight gain is also a contributing factor. Weight gain+finasteride can promote estrogen increase even more than propecia alone. I know this cause I got on propecia after gaining weight, I got actual gland enlargement and had to use letro to shrink it back to its normal size. My Doctor told me to take some time and lose weight and then get back on the drug. I did that, when I lost about 25 pounds I got back on. My nipples are sometimes slightly puffy but no gland growth or tissue or anything.

From your pictures they don't look puffy at all. Type "gynecomastia puffy nipples" on google and you will see what they look like.

Go see a doctor but I think you are overthinking it. Are you generally a paranoid person?

When the weather is warm anyones nipples will become a little puffy and "lighter". I think thats a point many dont get; when you go in the cold the areola skin tenses kinda like goosebumps and becomes darker and smaller. If your nipples are puffy just flick them and they literally stiffin up, in this case thats just a normal reaction to temperature and/or stimulation. In your case i see where the gland could be forming (very very mild, almost undetectable to someone not educated in the subject), its like a larger circle around your areola. You should lay off the finasteride and see if it resolves itself. You can run letro and arimidex (has to do with estrogen/ receptors) but they may cause hairloss which obviously counter productive so i would just stop finasteride and see if the symptoms subside. If you dont feel a semi hard squishy pad under your nipple then youre in good shape.
