I wake up with morning wood every day. I want sex all the time. My semen comes out the same as before.

I have 8 months of generic Finasteride, hair shed decreased 2 months in. I have maintained, i'm not thinning anymore. I'm 22.

Yes, I would say I get morning wood most of the times I wake up.

I started shedding when I first started taking finasteride but I didn't shed to the point where it was noticeable.

Belmondo, thnks for the honest reply - if you have watery or even transparent semen then doesn't that indicate that it could be finasteride? Sure your sex drive will decrease but 34 is still young.

Do you think you would definitely be bald without finasteride by now and if it is the cause of a lower sex drive then would you still make the same decision to take it?

I stopped finasteride for two weeks straight, then figured i could try a micro dose of 0.5mg every other day. My hair has been falling out non-stop (no joke), and my head is itching worse then ever. I wouldn't say it's worse than baseline, but it's thin enough to the point where people have been saying, 'have you dyed your hair?' because its become much lighter due to the thinning.

I probably would have a much higher drive if I didn't have so much stress at work right now, and if my relationship was a bit smoother. I don't want it as much as I did 4 years ago, but I'm fairly certain that it's more to do with stress than anything. Even if it's 100% related to finasteride, it's at an acceptable level to trade for the hair that I have

dutasteride is more likely to destroy the hairline. The reason that it would "destroy the hairline" is more likely because of the fact that finasteride works best on the crown. So, you'll lose more hair on the hairline than you do on the crown, which makes it look like it's wrecking your hairline when in fact it's just maintaining better on the crown

I have little to no doubt that I would be NW3 or 4 (possibly even 5) by now had I not started finasteride in May of '08. I'm the only male on EITHER side of the family that was any better than NW3 by the time they were 27.

I guess I kind of read your question wrong. I was just pointing out that I did shed for a while but it didn't do any damage to destroy my hairline. Its been working out good for me so far.

1. Yes, I never had any ED problems. Never noticed because it happens all the time.

3. Yes- kinda, I was having sex 3-4 times a day without trouble with my friend with benefits. Maybe I wasn't use to having so much sex, but I never had a problem getting hard.

4. Helped mine tremendously until I had to start due to side effects.

I was on it for 1.5yrs.

1 and 2 'yes'. 3. naturally very high, no decrease on finasteride. i want sex always (literally). 4. never heard of it, so obviously haven't experienced it either.

semen kinda turned watery. i developed slight gyno and quit asap. i still have a small case of it. im worried when i do AAS, that the gyno will come back so im thinking about getting lipo.

i just thought it was clever that i got the side effects. i've been getting fucked on so many things lately. first jail, then hair loss, then family loss, then gyno, then lonely with my business because we dont have or need employees, injuring my knees and shoulder from working out, getting cited for medical marijuana possession and hiring a lawyer (5k down) to make the police realize its legal in my case and charges were dropped to trespassing..

Only a short 1-2 months in and I notice improvement already, no drastic shed or anything.
