glad to hear the surgery went well. Gonna post any before and after photos?
I went to school with a kid who had cancer at a very young age, so he got a chin transplant when he turned 18. I never did see him after that, since I moved away for college and never saw most of my high school colleagues after that. But I heard he looks worse than before, though I heard this from his long time friend, so I'm sure it's a case of getting used to somebody looking a certain way, and then comparing it to the shorter-term change.
As for the brite smile, it cost $500. I got a bonus at work this year, otherwise I never would have paid that much. But seriously, I am feeling a bit depressed lately, since I look a little older than I did just 2 years ago, probably due to sun damage and stuff- I'm 28 now. So I've been doing things to help, and that was just one of them. Truth be told, my teeth were never that bad, but now the look pretty good. Actually, it turned out a little "blotchy", so I complained, and they are giving me a tough-up for free. Something tells me that second touch-up is included in the initial price. Nothing is free in this world! =)
So if your teeth are somewhat dark, from smoking or much wine drinking, then I recommend it. Check out their website by searching for brite smile. You call the 800 number and they'll find a dentist who does it. Sometimes the price varies by $50 or so, too, so pick the right one. But if your teeth aren't bad, you won't see STELLAR results. I'm just vane. =)
Good luck.
