Re: Study proving foam is INCREDIBLY effective (I'm overwhelmed)

There is nothing in the link you posted to support your claim so post this "study" so we don't have to pay to see it. You've still proved nothing. Antecdotal evidence on this forum alone attests to the fact the the foam is indeed very effective.

Three or so weeks ago you posted a recommendation to someone here to use the foam 2X daily and now you're on a foam bashing crusade. Buzz off troll.

I can't post the PDF. It is illegal. When you buy the stuff it says that it is for personal use only and that it should not be distributed under no circumstances whatsoever.

I have discontinued using the foam for some time now, yes. Never again will I put something that is so ineffective on my head.

Well, like I said then, you've proved absolutely nothing so you may as well change the title of your post to something like " I think the foam is less effective and for all you posters who are having results, you're lying or it's a placebo effect."

Buy the study, read it, and you'll start laughing as hell. $30 isn't the end of the world.

I don't need to read it. I've been using minoxidil for years and I know that the foam works better for me. I couldn't care less who else uses it, and I'm sure I speak for the many here that feel the same way. Your little "non evidence" post here will not deter current users of the foam, but may only scare away ignorant newbies who don't know better.

Could you please stop posting useless trolls so we can keep this thread as clean as possible? Thanks.

Yeah. You're the one with a low post count and ridiculous threads. I think you're the troll who won't provide any backing for his claims. I was simply responding to the lack of evidence you claim you had and then responded to one of your responses to me. I'm not sure how that is construed as trolling. Without posting the proof, there is really nothing to discuss on this thread so we may as well move on.

So is there any truth to this at all or why the hell did you post this, philly? Come on, post the most important bits of the study if you really have it... can't be that hard.

This certainly isn't good news, how can Pfizer market the foam as much more effective than liquid is completely beyond me. Well, at the end of the day the only rogaine I'd ever use is foam so I hope it's better than nothing. Liquid made my scalp burn.

Well, he still hasn't posted the study so I'm convinced of nothing. Why don't you dig us up a "study" with the end results and not the 4 month mark, which we all know is no where near long enough to gauge the efficacy of a treatment? While you're at it, you need to find a comparable study with the liquid to prove your point.

Like, I said it works better for me as well as many others so I will continue to use the foam and grow hair regardless, and couldn't care less about this "study".

the results might have been around 20% better for the rogaine foam. This is certainly significant but does not in any way alter the conclusions that I have drawn in the first post of this thread.

In your first post you said you believed the liquid to be 5 times better than the foam and now you are concluding that the results are 20% better with the foam than the liquid. This whole f*****g thread needs to be deleted.

...and you called me a troll. :jackit: :jackit:

Now the title needs to be changed to "The foam is better, but I think I'll argue about it anyway"

:freak: . 20% better than the foam results after 4 months of course. This is absolutely clear and evident. Liquid would still be more than 4 times more effective.

Please read my whole post before answering. Thanks.

You're above post clearly states:

So now I really have no clue what the f*** you're talking about and I really don't think you do either. I'm done with you and I'm done with this ridiculous thread. You have completely failed to prove anything and have contradicted yourself. I really believe the mods should simply delete it.
