For those that have followed my tremendous success with just min and keto I have some bad news. I was diagnosed with hypothyroidism and I am now being properly medicated; so I do not know how much minoxidil and ketoconazole have played in growing my hair back. I am taking T4 and T3 hormones and it may cause massive hair regrowth. Thanks for following my story guys

Happy to hear you did so well on Minoxidil and Keto alone :)

Sorry to hear you are hypothyroidic though.. I am interested in how you fair with your T3 and T4 hormones though but what I will say is unless the hair you lost is from your thyroid issue and not from Androgenetic Alopecia you possibly will not grow it back.

Thyroid hair loss falls out in a different pattern to Androgenetic Alopecia I believe?

How did you go about getting diagnosed if you dont mind me asking?

And were there any other symptoms? I have been suspicious that this may also be the cause of my hair loss also

This is more suspicious to me than shocking. I looked at one of your previously started threads about a month ago and you had already stated you were diagnosed with hypothyroidism (and were taking medication for it) three months prior to that post.. You basically made the exact same thread you made a month ago, so what's the point of this thread, if I may ask?

Get your TSH, free T3 and free T4 tested. Symptoms are extreme fatigue, dry skin, being cold a lot, gaining weight and sometimes brain fog

Funny how your comment seems to be more attention seeking than my post. I asked a question because the logic behind his threads didn't seem to match up, and he answered it. Simple as that. ;)

I think he was referring to the OP. That doesn't seem fair either. It's no wonder more people don't share their experiences when they get attacked for doing so.

Yes I was referring to OP. Attacking him? Thats a bit of an overstatement dont ya think? I have nothing against OP, just calling em like I see em. I base that on this thread plus his other threads, and that's only my opinion, you dont have to agree with it

with the patterns he showed us, its definately male pattern baldness.
I know it's male pattern baldness. The problem was I began diffusely thinning; this is common with thyroid hair loss. My only problem is diffuse thinning. My hair recession doesn't bother me since I can conceal my hairline

Thank you. I just don't understand ridiculing someone for talking about their hair loss on a hairloss website. I'm not seeking attention, I'm seeking helpful insight and answers into something that has changed my life

Iktf. I get laughed at and called mentally ill when I post about hair loss on other hair loss forums. Sure I still have a pretty thick head of hair, but losing 50+ hairs in the shower isn't normal...

Every situation is different. Hair loss impacts all of our lives so much we spend time on a hair loss forum. People need to be more supportive

stop being a push over bro.. and stay. Forums are full of criticism, it's nothing new and to be taken to seriously
