.. after I quit drinking and started working out.
weak erection was really just drinking beer every night and horrible diet/sleeping habits. I mean every night for years.
gyno was really just being 35 pounds overwreight and having a layer of fat from my belly right up to my chest and onto my face and head.
I started running daily six months ago and didn't try to change anything else, I knew it would change itself.
Weight dropped off and performance and mileage increased.. then plateaued. A month ago I was able to quit drinking. The running won out over it.
Then I've been able to hold steady with that, increase my mileage. I added an ab roller to strengthen the core.
As my body "dried out" from the alcohol and my clarity of mind returned with a new diet, I began sleeping normal hours again.
Guess what's happening? My hard ons are instant, big, I mean super big, like bulbous, and all systems feel amazing. My "gyno" has disappeared as the fat on my body reeled in. I wasn't meant to be 204. I was meant to be 165.
The whole time I blamed it all on finasteride. It was the finasteride.
in truth, I was never suffering any side effects.
PS, another thing. Drunks tend to forget their regimen.
They say, oh, minoxidil "quit working for me". When in fact they might have patchy at best applications. You need to take your finasteride EVERY day. You need to apply minoxidil every day. Can't miss three days there, a week here, a month there.
It doesn't work that way.
Anyway, I'm running 70-80 miles a week now. I started at a painful 25 per week. Lean and mean. I'll add weights when it gets cold out. But my goal is to be athletic, not a meat head. Boxer, not juicer.
