Hello,

I am new to this whole hair loss thing. No one in my family really has hair loss issues. My barber said I was thinning about 6 months ago and it has been driving me crazy ever since. Multiple pics and videos that sometimes look fine, sometimes is looks awful. I ended up doing to another barber a coupe of months ago and he said if I was thinning, it was very little and that my massive double cowlick makes it look more like I am thinning. Anyways, I stumbled upon this website so I thought I would just ask for some advice and eventually pass it on to others on here. I have attached multiple pics of my crown. The first picture is from 3 years ago. Other pics are withing the past month. Both wet with gel and dry hair pics.

Any help is appreciated. Thank you.

In the forth pic to me it looks to be minor thinning, nothing to stress about. You've got a nice head of hair.

Don't worry, are your genes with this double whorl. It seem your hair very dry, pure jojoba oil can help you to mantain your good and thick hair.
A lot of luck.

I feel you man, I've got a cowflick myself and i've been going with the slick back undercut style. It's hella annoying but we can't really complain about it, since we're lucky enough to have hair (for now). You're fine.

I just took these have some daylight photos. This is what I was talking about when I said it looks bad. Still think it is just the cowlick?

Well I was like you six moths ago, I made my research and found that within the treatments, you can use another products along. I highly recommend hair fibers, is not for bald people neiher is make up or anything like that. Actually I first tried with one called toppik but left stains in my clothes and looked like I put shoe polish on my scalp, however my best friend's wife told me to try with another called hairatin fibers. Is a little expensive in comparison with others in market, but it really works, nobody notices that you are using it and it helps your hair to get bold again. Hope you can try it!

that last pic is kinda strange, go see a dermatologist for an expert opinion on it and show him this photo as well

that last picture he posted in daylight looked weird. I have the same situation. Does yours look like that as well?
It's normal for double cowlick to look thinner than normal.

Did you see the other pics up top?

Yeah but i can't tell. Some people look like they are balding even if they arent. Fine hair + cowlick + greasy hair and you may as well look like a baldy. Only way to be 100% certain is to shave it down to 1 or 2 mm and evaluate.
