If you know my story and/or are not interested in hearing a summary of it, you can skip the next paragraph.
I'll be 27 next month, started losing my juvenile hairline when I was 15/16. Hit Norwood 2 by 18/19, so I started rogaine and went back to Norwood 1. I quit rogaine at 21 and retruned to Norwood 2. Then at around 23, my hairline started creeping toward Norwood 3, so I got back on rogaine. It helped but I didn't get the same results I got the first time around, so at 24 I jumped on the big 3 and I've been on it ever since. I think it helped me maintain for the most part, my crown is still strong, I'm still a Norwood 2 with thinning in the Norwood 3 region, it's really not THAT noticeable when grown out or with a little Toppik.
I've given up hope on being Norwood 1 again, I think at this point only a miracle or a hair transplant would bring that back. However, I have some hope to thicken up my thinning Norwood 3 region. Also, now that Nizoral is not available, I feel my regimen is lacking and I really want to add something else to the mix. I'm not willing to try RU, I tried copper pepptides and didn't find it helpful but did find it messy. So that leaves me with topical spironolactone or mico. So my question is, for those who have tried topical spironolactone, what was the experience like? Did you experience regrowth? Where do you buy it from? Any other thoughts or comments on topical spironolactone or on how to improve my regimen would be appreciated. Please comment guys!
