So what did you mean by "pretty much 50% serum reduction" if you didn't say it.

"I did 4ml of 0.5% again and DHT dropped to 160 ng/dl from 330 ng/dl, pretty much 50% serum reduction."

4ml 0f 0.5% equals 20mg of Dutasteride, this is 40 times the normal dose of 0.5mg

I was purposely applying a giant dose to see how much I could bring my DHT down and what type of sides I would get

Ah, I see. But still, if a giant dose brought it down, it stands to reason that any % would drop it eventually as it accumulates. Like that other guy was saying

Well mine didn't, so who knows

Either way, the decrease is not significant and the scalp to serum reduction ratio is much better than that of oral finasteride

Hi,

Cetirizine can be a good addition, saddly, i read it was pretty unstable in Ethanol based vehicle :(
About dutasteride, i would like to get it as raw ( form P H G ) and doing my proper vehicle ( probably a simple eth / pg ( and maybe a bit of Poly 80 )), may be enough.

Mustang your results are very promising and i'm inclined to believe the results that you have had. If they can be verified in clinically controlled studies it could well be the ultimate hair loss treatment.

I don't think it is
I personally don't need anything else (no oral finasteride, no topical finasteride, no CB). I have a completely normal libido and cognitive function without any other type of side while my hair loss is completely stable and my crown as improved.

I can't ask for much more than this

This said, some people don't respond that well to dutasteride and require something to block test as well

Well maybe it isn't, but thanks to the results that you and a few others have posted, it has given me and a lot of others the hope of halting hair loss without completely f*****g up the hormone profile resulting in the associated unwanted sides.

That's crazy to endure such a long shed and not give up, props to you man. Been there and it can be nerve racking.

I experienced the exact opposite, shedding went down from 50 hairs a day to 5 within a few weeks of starting Liposomal dutasteride

Your crown definitely looks better, hopefully it will continue to improve
do you think liposomal formulation makes a difference in outcome for you? my hair density is crap at month 2 of topical dutasteride. i would think my scalp would feel better but it feels worse.

then you are sensitive to the increase in scalp T. or you are using alcohol/pg formulation that irritates and dries your scalp. try to derma stamp with 1.5mm and then apply the dutasteride right after for better penetration to the folicle. duta got over 500 daltons so it cannot penetrate your scalp skin at all only if you derma stamp then it have a chance, this is the reason why mesotherapy works BEST. https://pubmed.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/10839713/ and people that claim side effects from topical dutasteride without derma stamping are out of their minds.

worth noting this is topical 0.5% dutasteride mixed with 5% minoxidil and all the other ingredients. NO finesteride. i tried topical finesteride and it gave me side effects mostly achy balls and low libido which stopped the week i stopped applying and i’ve been fine since. my regimen rn is dermstamp 1.5mm once a week with this formulation on top and the rest of the days just applying after showering before bed. that should hopefully encourage some growth in next 2 months. At current can barely style my hair bc of all the hair density i have lost it’s insane

how often do you stamp and do you think it’s ok with a 0.5% solution? you seem to use 5mg which for me would be 1ml

I stamp once a week 1.5mm then directly after apply 5mg dutasteride which for me is 10ml. the other days of the week I use oral dutasteride instead because using 5ml or even 10ml topically each day of the week would empty my bottles in no time. do you apply your solution directly after derma stamping? 1ml for you is 5mg. ok so if you want to use more ML to cover your scalp I would have taken 1ml from your solution then put it in another tiny bottle and then add a few ml of something else like minoxidil or grain alcohol this way you have enough ML to cover the scalp and you will still have 5mg of duta on the scalp just more evenly spread out.
