No one cares that you're a medical student.

It's not like you're an accomplished surgeon or something.
I'm gonna say it once.
You need to see a psychiatrist.
You are delusional and very aggressive.
I'm not arguing with you.
You clearly have issues and I do hope you find the courage to deal with them. You can't do it on your own, though.
Wish you all the best!

Hun, I'm a medical student.
What's your qualification?
I'm so fed up with people having no f-ing idea but being argumentative, whatsoever.
There are posters here who write like 6 posts/day on average for 4 months in a row or claim that cutaneous epithelial cells depend on atmospheric oxygen (which is written in wikipedia; how lame!!!) and I'm the one who's called names.

Ok, hun, this paper is a breakthrough. Because of it, Riken-Kyocera are launching a Phase I trial next year.

Happy?
Now, live your life!
Or if you can't, find a Doctor. Most of "qualified" posters in here really need one.

:confused::confused::confused::(:confused::(:confused::confused::confused:

Stop calling people 'hun' you sound like a douche.

Hey, that mouse has more hair than you!

Stop calling people 'hun' you sound like a douche.

He is

How do you have 1,400 likes?

If I had to guess, it's because I actually appeal to people's higher spirits instead of beating them down with condescending pessimism, can relate to their experiences (I've had a number of messages from people with PFS or starting up treatments asking for my advice) and help them through it, I support my points with facts wherever possible, I've made efforts to organize chaotic information regarding potential products, I share my honest opinions and experiences, I have a supportive attitude toward the researchers who are actually trying to solve a grossly overlooked problem, I don't wave around education or occupation and demand I be taken seriously because of it

and

I have no problem telling off trolls, douchebags and naysayers who have no business being here.

I think that's why.

Hairblues, to me, you are a well-respected poster and, therefore, don't want to quarrel with you.
I fully respect your disagreeing and confronting me, but, please, don't call me names.
You can do better as a person than that, I believe.

Bis bald!

'cause baldsies need someone, who claims expertise and credibility (he/she CLEARLY does NOT have), to reassure them that the cure to their "doom" is around the corner.
It is, I can tell you that, too.
But that corner is miles away!!!

I see Tsuji as something I'll be getting when I'm in my mid 30s (26 now) which will put this battle to bed once and for all. Because of Tsuji I don't think I will ever be bald. Compare with young guys in the 00s, 90s etc - even if they were on treatment or getting transplants, they still might wonder "what's my hair going to be like when I'm 35? 45?". I don't think our generation has to worry as much about what our hair will be like in 10-20 years. I'm optimistic in that sense.

However, I don't see Tsuji as something I or any average balding Joe be getting around the 2020 mark. Will be a massive waiting list, possibly restricted to Japanese only in the early stage? And damn sure they will be charging at least £50k. They could charge whatever the f*** they want and still have more demand than they can cope with. I will be waiting a long time until it becomes more accessible+affordable.

Yeah I'm thinking the same, maybe go all out on hair transplants to get the best hair for now, then in 10 years Tsuji will come to our rescue and save our hair when we're middle aged.

2020 though? Not a chance, first in line will be the rich and famous, the waiting list will be long. It will take years to license the technology abroad too.

I wonder what are the chances that the new treatments would allow me to be sure to keep my hair line and a strong 5 o'clock shadow.

Yes I'm still worried that my donor might thin, and as long as I don't see something like Brozu coming out and working to an extent, I'm going to worry about it.

Cases like mine are fairly rare, as I would truly be happy by just being able keeping a shaved head forever. But right now I'm not always satisfied with the density that my 2000 grafts have given me.

Funny how I still doubt that we could get at least some more hair back in the next few years, while people seem quite optimistic about being able to go back to a full head of hair.
my donor is thin as well because of hair transplant and I don't know if Tsuji will work for me, it's a little bit difficult :/

Isn't it suppose to work for thinning donors aswell? I thought that in theory all you would need is one single hair follicle that is healthy. And I mean, even the guys suffering from the most aggresiv hair loss still have a donor area, even if it might be alot thinner.

Expecting that Tsuji would enjoy zero competition is like believing the Soviets would never have gotten their hands on the bomb. No worries because if this works, there will be similar procedures developed around the world.

and all of those will take years between developing their necessary infrastructure and trials.

There are only a couple of other companies working on something similar and they aren't nearly as ready as Tsuji is.

Because he's one of these guys who says being bald is no big deal and there are "plenty of hot bald guys" because apparently a gay man's opinion on what men are or aren't "hot" is relevant to straight men.

He said and still says that there is no way this will be out in 2020, despite everything being on track for it.

He's also contradicted his own beliefs numerous times

These kinds of guys are narcissists, dude. They don't want a solution as bad as you do; they want it more. Narcissists hate it when they aren't the ones in control and baldness is something that they can't control, so the coping method is to try and tell yourself it's not a problem because you will be f*****g awesome even without hair. That's what leads to what I call "the naysayer circle jerk." You only find these forums and are reading new research if you go looking for it. Anyone who is here is bothered by hairloss — period. However, if you find even ONE other voice telling you what you want to hear in the sea of people telling you the truth you don't want to accept (you're going bald and will look like sh*t) that one person saying "It's no big deal; these treatments won't work out and we don't need them anyway" that person is your best friend now because they feed your narcissistic delusion. That's why all the naysayers stick together and give each other the thumbs up.

The one thing they will never let themselves be, though? Wrong. Guys like Foucault will still being saying even when they see hair sprouting out of human scalps in 2018 that it's not gonna work out, there's no way it'll be out in 2020, etc. Meanwhile they'll be the first ones booking the plane ticket when the time comes.

I believe that there are people suffering from baldness who would like a cure not to be achieved. It is usually people of a certain age who have suffered a long time for their baldness, who have tried innumerable treatment without success and have realized that the problem is so complex that for a long time the solution would not come. Then you may think that if there is no solution for himself, there should be no solution for anyone else. A little narcissistic, of course ....

...
I remember at a snack with friends, that one of them ate a chili and he withstood the itch, and made us eat ..... so that we "enjoy" also the experience .... In the world there is all.

No that's not right. When you harvest the follicles by FUE you damage the skin in your donor area which leaves scars, so tsuji may not work on the donor area but will work on the recipient area

Focaultl, if you are a medical student....any of your doctor friends interested in becoming partners? :D

All the doctors I know a) don't give a damn about hair loss, even if they' re balding/bald themselves, b) are Greek and, therefore, it is very unlikely that they be interested in Cotsarelis' yankee-based deed (even though Cots is of Greek descent himself).

Bis bald

PS: I'm, indeed, a med student, in case there is some doubt.

So what if you're a med student? I work at a hospital.

I just decided that I'm going to go back to school and become a doctor so now I will soon be a med student. BFD!
