Well it's the second time i will quit minoxidil and this time it's for good.. This time i lasted longer but i made my mind now and took my conclusions out of this..
First time i used it for almost a month, it degraded my hair density a lot and made my hairline to recede even more than it already did without any treatments... Because i stopped it as i remember i started shedding again and it took a couple of months until my hair started to get back to normal, in terms of density and the way it felt by a whole, it changed color again to the way it was and it did not feel like sh*t as it felt when i was on minoxidil.. My hairline did not came back to the point where it was before starting minoxidil but i never thought it will anyways..
Now after a year and a half or something like that, i stumbled upon this thread and said to give minoxidil a chance again with dermarolling... I have to admit that dermarolling made a difference in terms of scalp health, the itchiness is gone, no more oily scalp but the minoxidil made things worse again... I used it for 2 months and today i'm gonna stop it for good.. Why ? The shed was real bad but i knew it and i'm not stopping because of that, for a couple of days the shed has stopped and i know that regrowth should be around 4-6-8 months but i'm not willing to go through shed cycles again and again just to get some frizzy hair that does not look natural back and with the cost of being dependent on this solution..
I never believed it but it made my skin to look like sh*t in 2 months, i feel my eyes and face bloated every day i wake up after using it, i have daily fatigue even if i am well rested and without drinking or smoking being active and eating healthy like i usually do and besides all of this i started growing hair all over the place except on my head.. My arms, chest, beard got denser and have to shave it off even more often than i usually did anyways... My hairline receded even more and i'm sure it's not gonna come back this time also like the last time i experienced this and in the end i'm not willing to do this every f*****g single day for the rest of my life just to get some hair looking like pubic hair and unnatural and minoxidil dependent on my head... I should have trusted my instinct and the general reviews about this product and i came to the conclusion that it's best to just dermaroll if you want and see how it works or to just pop that finasteride pill or in the end just to get a hair transplant and be done with it, or in the end just shave it off and own it and that's that...
Seeing my hair degrading in the last years made me try this sh*t solution 2 times and from my anecdotal experience and opinion, it made it worse every time without any comeback after i stopped the treatment like it should have come, to the base on which you started the treatment And no, it's not possible for the pattern to evolve that fast if it did not before you started the treatment.. And i know for sure that my hair loss progression accelerated because of it, besides the fact that i read that a lot of people had accelerated loss that never came back, some doctors say that for some it can make you lose hair that would have fallen maybe in a couple of years anyways, but much faster with minoxidil...
I just imagined myself today putting this sh*t every single day on my head 2 times and after getting all the discomfort it cause, from the oily head it leaves to the hair it causes to grow all over the place, to the bloated eyes and face, to the wrinkles and all the sh*t you need to do repetitive like a robot every day just to get some minoxidil dependent hair that will fall of with the first time you stop using this sh*t... It's useless in my opinion, maybe for some it works good i saw some extraordinary results on diffuse thinners but for receding hairline i think it's mostly useless, even if it does something after a while it loses effectiveness and if your hair falls in clumps because it was minoxidil dependent you have done nothing...
Who the f*** knows on how it affects the heart and other stuff in time if from the first uses it makes you feel like sh*t in a way and makes you grow hair all over the body, it's clear that even this sh*t 5% foam gets systemic and can cause different sides, maybe a lot of them not specified on the leaflet and so on...
