Why is PRP so hit and miss in terms of data, you have some people who swear by it and some who say its a complete fraud, I have yet to make my mind up on it so confusing. One clinic said i should opt for it another said a total waste of time
Don't waste your money, I shed like crazy for 4 months after two treatments. Even on the side of my head which was way thicker before these $1000 X 2 Treatments. I had two different salons tell me not to bother. There are plenty of other treatments that could be suggested. Why is PRP so hit and miss in terms of data, you have some people who swear by it and some who say its a complete fraud, I have yet to make my mind up on it so confusing. Thanks man i've just started my whole hair growth journey and im only taking finasteride but im on the road to minoxidil- but one surgeon suggested prp and swore by it which was tempting even at 2k charge but your story seems be most frequently expressedDon't waste your money, I shed like crazy for 4 months after two treatments. Could prp be a minoxidil replacement? Thats how my Doctor put itI had two different salons tell me not to bother. There are plenty of other treatments that could be suggested.
I don't think so. I would wait until there is more knowledge about what PRP can accomplish in the longer term but I did almost do it too but minoxidil and oral minoxidil are great meds with few sides.Could prp be a minoxidil replacement? Thats how my Doctor put it
HRT for the win! LolI had two different salons tell me not to bother. There are plenty of other treatments that could be suggested.
Dude don't do it, I had very thick hair going in and went through a massive shedding process 4-5 month after. This was a new one called harvest PRP treatment, had decent hair for 54 and then then shedding just killed. I take .5M of AVODART and 4 pills of Nutrafol. Still have hair and consider myself lucky compared to others. Just don't waste money on PRPThanks man i've just started my whole hair growth journey and im only taking finasteride but im on the road to minoxidil- but one surgeon suggested prp and swore by it which was tempting even at 2k charge but your story seems be most frequently expressed
Just to touch on this, but the vast majority of Hollywood stars who are not the obviously genetically gifted one's are just using hair pieces or have gotten transplants in conjunction with concealers to keep the frontal area strong. They really don't have access to anything more then anyone on this board does except the money for the surgeries and access to make up artists / stylists and top quality pieces that you would never know are being worn. Mconahey is the most obvious example of this that most of us would know. The guy is practically bald at the front but has a world class frontal piece to the point where he has articles written about the quality of his hair.Finasteride, Minoxidil, Microneedling, maybe Tretinoin and/or Bi-Estro cream too, Ketoconazole shampoo, 10 mg of biotin daily, vitamin D if you have a deficiency, Zinc, Vitamin B6, B12, DIM and/or Epilobium Parviflorum, PRP and Dutasteride Mesotherapy with top notch doctors/clinics, and eventually transplants if needed, with a board of great surgeons to asess and decide the best method and how to operate, along with intensive PRP after the transplant.
This is probably what Hollywood stars do to keep their hair in my opinion. I doubt many use Dutasteride daily long term (Due to widespread alcohol and drug abuse) and don't think many would be willing to use RU or CB.
Jeff Bezos it too preoccupied with ruling/owning the world to care about getting girls. Guy could have gone the Elon Musk route anytime he wanted, never gave a sh*t.I think even Jeff Bezos cant get all the girls
Thanks man nah i havent even tried min yet so ill try that - do u think u lost hair from prp due to shock loss?Dude don't do it, I had very thick hair going in and went through a massive shedding process 4-5 month after. I think so because hair was suppose to improve and less hair falling, not more. They tried to get me to go back for a third time but no way, just to give an example. Last year at this time I visited a hair transplant DR and he said I had great head of hair, my hairline looked very good for 52 and said if I wanted he could add 400 grafts to fill in hairline but said I could do nothing and would be ok.Thanks man nah i havent even tried min yet so ill try that - do u think u lost hair from prp due to shock loss?
