Why is PRP so hit and miss in terms of data, you have some people who swear by it and some who say its a complete fraud, I have yet to make my mind up on it so confusing. One clinic said i should opt for it another said a total waste of time

I had two different salons tell me not to bother. There are plenty of other treatments that could be suggested.

Could prp be a minoxidil replacement? Thats how my Doctor put it
I don't think so. I would wait until there is more knowledge about what PRP can accomplish in the longer term but I did almost do it too but minoxidil and oral minoxidil are great meds with few sides.

Dude don't do it, I had very thick hair going in and went through a massive shedding process 4-5 month after. This was a new one called harvest PRP treatment, had decent hair for 54 and then then shedding just killed. I take .5M of AVODART and 4 pills of Nutrafol. Still have hair and consider myself lucky compared to others. Just don't waste money on PRP

Finasteride, Minoxidil, Microneedling, maybe Tretinoin and/or Bi-Estro cream too, Ketoconazole shampoo, 10 mg of biotin daily, vitamin D if you have a deficiency, Zinc, Vitamin B6, B12, DIM and/or Epilobium Parviflorum, PRP and Dutasteride Mesotherapy with top notch doctors/clinics, and eventually transplants if needed, with a board of great surgeons to asess and decide the best method and how to operate, along with intensive PRP after the transplant.

This is probably what Hollywood stars do to keep their hair in my opinion. I doubt many use Dutasteride daily long term (Due to widespread alcohol and drug abuse) and don't think many would be willing to use RU or CB.
Just to touch on this, but the vast majority of Hollywood stars who are not the obviously genetically gifted one's are just using hair pieces or have gotten transplants in conjunction with concealers to keep the frontal area strong. They really don't have access to anything more then anyone on this board does except the money for the surgeries and access to make up artists / stylists and top quality pieces that you would never know are being worn. Mconahey is the most obvious example of this that most of us would know. The guy is practically bald at the front but has a world class frontal piece to the point where he has articles written about the quality of his hair.

Unrelated to my own hairloss I've talked to friends of mine that work in film styling/make up and they openly will tell you that the majority of the older stars (ie 30+ or with any family history) are just using a plethora of concealers and most are told by their team to get on finasteride before any thinning even starts. It's all smoke and mirrors, money doesn't buy you much other then the surgery and access to hide it well. Logic (rapper) spoke on this openly after shaving his head. His team tried to get him in with a transplant surgeon for 100k worth of surgeries and he decided not to go through with it.

I think even Jeff Bezos cant get all the girls
Jeff Bezos it too preoccupied with ruling/owning the world to care about getting girls. Guy could have gone the Elon Musk route anytime he wanted, never gave a sh*t.

It really just depends on how much hair you've lost and what you've already needed in order to stop it. So some people can get away with minoxidil only, or finasteride alone. Heck, some people on here might get away with just keto alone. Then other people are going to need all three of those to maintain, RU or CB, or perhaps dutasteride, oral minoxidil, or something even more powerful. But yeah money will only get you so far. Like a few people mentioned, you first need to make sure you're a good candidate for a transplant. I would say the ideal situation is to have a very concentrated loss in a specific area. Either only crown or hairline issues, most can have that fixed and stick with a minimal maintenance program, or I do believe that a few people can get away with not even taking anything ever again after a transplant. But if you have both going on, continued aggressiveness of loss, or are diffuse you are likely going to need to be taking more stuff along with the transplant. Concealers seem to be a great option for crown and some diffusers but I don't see people using it for the hairline. So the options all just depends on your individual situation, and the power of money is limited to what the researchers are making available, which, as some have already pointed out, celebrities don't even have a cure. Actually, if one was to take 0.25mg of finasteride that is one of the cheapest solutions one could viably maintain on. But others on here use CB upwards of 10% which is very expensive. One may work for you and one may not, though.

I think so because hair was suppose to improve and less hair falling, not more. They tried to get me to go back for a third time but no way, just to give an example. Last year at this time I visited a hair transplant DR and he said I had great head of hair, my hairline looked very good for 52 and said if I wanted he could add 400 grafts to fill in hairline but said I could do nothing and would be ok.

The ultimate guide for hair maintenance is not just about the right products but also about understanding your hair type and knowing how to take care of it.
Understanding what kind of hair you have is the first step in taking care of it. What are your natural curls like? How much volume do you want? What's the texture like? Knowing the answers to these questions will help you determine which products are best for you.
Products:-
There are a lot of different products on the market, so it can be hard to know where to start. But before you buy anything, make sure that you know what kind of hair you have and what your goals are for your hair - whether it's to add volume or tame frizziness.
