Does crown loss usually spread forward? I always think of hair thinning from front to back but I'm prolly wrong on that.

the problem is my hair loss is receding and the crown growing so its all just leaving.

I have to get my temples touched up as you can see, but the front center filled in and held.

problem is now I HAVE to keep getting them as well or end up with that island of hair in the front.

I hate my genes. I was reading an article (yes I went searching) before. It was one of those "so many reasons to date a bald guy" and the only two woman who answered both said "nope"
I mentioned my scenerio in response and of course you get the "well you have to work on your charm and other aspects"
Well thats great but you already admitted you wouldnt give me a chance to USE either of them so whats the point?
In the end its more fun to be an azzwhole so now we see why so many guys go that way.

I had a roomemate the crown was a crown sufferer. It just went all the way forward, untill finally you start loosing the forelock and hairline.

did he hang himself

He was 5'4, about a NW5 vertex with a good skull(always kept it shaved), and head. handsome face by ethical standards.

He's 32, but hasn't had a girlfriend since he was 23. Feel sorry for the guy tbh

Dude, you are being too hard on yourself. From what I've read, you've done good for yourself.

again work, its all work. Im tried of always having to work twice as hard as the last guy. You grow up poor you have to work herder to get out of that, you are the smallest so you have to work out to keep people from ****ing with you. you dont come from any money or are WHITE (so you dont get financial aid in the US) you work full time and go to school full time at night. Then you graduate and still have to WORK extra hard to pay off loans. Meanwhile you go to a crappy community college and accelerated college while you drive through YALE every day to watch the yuppies play with their parents money. Then you find out your ex signed off papers with your name on them and your credit goes to 500 when you are 20. It takes FIVE years to fix that WHILE you are going to school and working because even AFTER you press charges and sue the dealership, for basically nothing because liberal blue state CT doesnt support its residents..... blumenthal you piece of ****, they dont fix your credit. YOU have to do that. So I bought a carolla (WHICH IM STILL DRIVING) at 15% interest untill I rebuilt my credit enough to refi and buy my multi rental...... RIGHT BEFORE THE HOUSING CRASH.

Now Im stuck in this awful relationship I cant walk out of because I bought another house with my GF who wont break up. Had I not bought that house I could have been on my 3rd rental or been flipping homes already.
But hey whats the point in breaking up when AGAIN Ill have to work EXTRA hard to try and land another girl. Who I will inevitably HAVE to give a ring because its the only reason a chick will settle with a bald guy. Or I just screw gross fat b****s. Either will just passive aggressive tell me how hot my brother is.

My only solace is really my job is super lax. THIS is what I do all day which honestly is double edged because I dont do much (in IT which I now realize I HATE) so Im research bald remedies while all the 45+ year old guys around me tuff their hair. Oh except our comms guy who is just always the butt of the bald jokes.... well until I inherit that position.

I cant use finasteride

I tried, we'll say it doesnt agree with me. FUE was supposed to be my breaking point.
But again that didnt even work with me great. WTF!

Why would you get a hair transplant if you don't use medication? Now you'll have plugs all over your head when you go bald.

I use minoxidil and nizoral. Just started a topical finasteride. Yes I know its not proven but really what other choices do I have. finasteride was a train wreck for me the near year I was on it. You dont "need" finasteride to do an FUE. Your donor hair is 90% of the time resistant to DHT. And if it isnt youll be shaving anyway so fawk it.

Fvck all you half *** bald nw3 a holes... swing, vesper, toms(1.5). Fvck all you guys.

Hey calm down baldie lol. I've said it time and time again, levels of baldness affect different people in different ways. If you a teenager with a diffuse NW3 you are just as ****** as a NW7. This forum is for anyone who is concerned about their hairloss. There is no set point where suddenly you qualify to be allowed to vent on here. Watch your dirty expletives. Have a nice day.

Update -

Any NW7 can become a Norwood 1 with hair transplants. Go to a good doctor and work out the maximum amount of grafts you can utilise from your scalp. Decide the Norwood you would be happy with - let's say for arguments sake NW1. Get your maximum amount of grafts evenly spread out in the NW1 pattern. Then use body hair transplants as filler hair. Simples. Your welcome. :)

Another update - Correct me if I'm wrong but if I remember rightly you said you would get a hair system if you had the money. North West lace sell systems for $150 dollars. They are a reputable company so check it out if you want non-surgical options. Again your welcome.

Bollocks.

Body hair transplants are expensive, grafts don't always successfully implant, texture is different, and a lot of them have been butchered. Also, Pilofocus is the only method of harvesting follicles I'd recommend on the body as the scarring would be FAR less evident and yield rates from scalp hair is much higher (near 100%). Problem is that Dr. Carlos Wesley hasn't said anything about using pilofocus for BHT... only then would I agree that full restoration would be possible.

I did, so have others such as Fred. Good doctors will place hair on your head so if you still have naitve hair around it, when that goes it just looks like you are thinning when really the hair there is transplanted hair. I can't use finasteride so I am just going to get transplant after transplant. Only option I have.

A good FUE will result in minimal scarring. Anyway I would rather have a scar and hair than no scar and no hair. We have to make sacrifices in this life. You are right texture is different but there should be a part of your body where hair grows and it matches the closest with your scalp hair. My individual hairs are very fine so my closest match is arm hair and abdomen hair.
You are right it is expensive but nothing in life's free.
As for scaring on the body - Dr Umar shows the recipient site afterwards and you can't tell. He uses a special U-graft machine which prevents scaring from occurring. Interesting doctors like Furunduni (spelt wrong ..dude from Belgium) refuses to do BHT on the beard for scaring, he wil only do it on other body parts like legs etc.

Rogaine is good for spot treatment with minimal miniaturization such as temple points. Wouldn't consider it a good standalone to fight hair loss, as it will be a loosing battle.

What happens when your existing DHT prone hair starts to thin, and eventually fall out, what then? It will happen. male pattern baldness is progressive, and it's bound to fall out especially when you don't have a drug to inhibit DHT - Finasteride, RU58841

I don't even use minoxidil, I was a diffuse NW2 before my transplant. My doctor placed over 4000 grafts over my head in a way so when my DHT hair falls out it will look as if I am thinning. But my long term goal is to get more transplants due to my excellent donor. Hopefully at this point Replicel or Histogen are out. If not and I lose too much hair then BHT, simples.

What if you looked better and women found you more attractive? Would it still bother you then?

I will still be bothered by my hair loss. Alopecia is a medical problem, not a cosmetic one. My scalp is super prone to inflammation from my male pattern baldness, it's ridiculous. Believe it or not, but if I go for as little as three days without using a Ketoconazole shampoo, my scalp will start to get super inflamed, itchy, oily, and painful. All those issues that I'm prone to are from my Androgenetic Alopecia, confirmed from a scalp biopsy done by a hair transplant surgeon. And of course, miniaturization of the hair follicles were detected. My hair is sensitive to DHT.

On the original point, for me it was less about how I looked. I don't have any women issues and for a long time didn't seek treatment cause I had myself convinced that it was all vanity. Then one day, I was thinking about it and I just came to the conclusion - I just plain like having hair. I think that's similar to the point Fred le Belgian sale chauve (c'mon man, its funny) made a few pages back. Can I pull it off? I don't know, but I'd rather not.
