BTW, I did not know Propecia could make your estrogen levels rise and cause chest growth or gynecomastea (sp?)... That's discouraging...
I'd always read Propecia was at least one of the most effective products available and second only to the stronger version, Dutasteride, that inhibits DHT even more?
as far as hair loss treatment is concern, propecia is the most effective treatment available. dutasteride has not been proven to be more effective than propecia. always keep in mind, that there was a reason why they cancelled phase 3 clinical trial of dutas. procecia inhibits DHT from the type 2 alpha reductase enzyme, which leaves free testostorone and increases between 10% to 20%. but for some the percentage rate can be higher, which can lead to gynecomastea however that is so rare. it's so rare, according to studys 1% of the people on procecia had gyno. my advise to you is don't get discourage, or paranoid because of posts you read on this forum. remember most of the people in this forum are hear because they experience sides, none responders, or simply paranoid. which equal to the percentage of none responder, sexual sides, etc on the studys.
