I have no problem with someone being homophobic, any more than I have a problem with people who have a phobia of spiders or heights. Homosexuality is considered perversion by most people. It is not natural and is a defect in the brain. Gays don't want to be treated the same as everyone else. They want to be treated better than everyone else.

That said, should he have attacked someone with the comments he did? No.

the word phaggot has been a subjected to frequent overuse, it's just an insult that in many instances looses it's intial association.
just because someone uses it doesn't attest that the person is homophobic (afraid of gays?) or even has a relation to homosexuality in mind.

I think S4L has made his feelings on homosexuality quite clear Slipy! Whether it's intended as a homophobic insult or not is irrelevant. If I called someone an "n-word" as a general insult, I'd still be using racist language wouldn't I?

s4l has made it obvious enough that he doesn't approve of homosexuality and sees gays as being on the same level as child rapists ( if he indeed was being serious). but i had bbsa in mind when i made that comment. if he calls you ***got or whatever that was he used that probably indicates that he's a rude arseshole, but doesn't necessarily mean he's a homophobe and a bigot unless he makes futher comments on the subject that confirms this.

one thing i don't get about the banning of bbsa is moderator said that bbsa had been warned about his behaviour and as far as i remmember no further offenses were made by him, yet a ban soon followed. go figure.

i do understand that while i might find the word ***got funny and would just laugh it off if someone addressed it to me, a homosexual person would perceive it as hurtful reading it even if it was directed at someone else. i didn't mean to ignore that part of your post, it just slipped by.

I'm not gay, but I still find it extremely offensive. I'm not black, but find the "n-word" extremely offensive. If someone had made anti-Semitic comments towards BBSA, rightly they would be in big trouble and imho deserving of a ban. It's one thing to lose your temper when you've been exposed for lying, it's another to use terms like he did. This is what this all stems from, him saying he's something he's not, and being called on it.

not only that, he didn't just say he was Norwood 4 which he is far from, he stated something that defies logic.
he said something along the lines of - ''i was a Norwood 2,5, then i shaved my head and became a Norwood 4 and this girl lost all interest in me blah blah.''
my question is how do you instantly advance by 1,5 Norwood's just by shaving your head? i wanted to ask him about this because i found it too funny but somehow i decided not to.

I had wanted to ask him about that as it was confusing. Glad it wasn't just me! I couldn't work out if he meant that shaved bald, was the same as being actually bald. But every time I tried to enter into a discussion with him, he wouldn't have it. Just as when I asked to see his pictures, he wouldn't show them, as he knew things were nowhere near as bad as he stated. Looking at his pictures, I'd say he was a NW2, just with very small temple points. His hairline is lower than mine for goodness sake!

I think his problem was that he spent too much time on that puahate site, took what they said as gospel, and then attempted to spread it on here. He admits on puahate that he trolled this forum with macimate.

Which will be incredibly hard to find a GAY FREE FORUM, because let me shed some light on a problem you'll face. The people who helped you find your treatments and listened to your problems...a lot of them are....GAY! Gay Gay Gay.....loads of GAY men flock to these forums as they are quite concerned about their appearance. I would just like to state something; I kind of have a change in mind somewhat when it comes to hairloss. I commented earlier that hairloss is one of the worst things that can happen to you & your chances of being in future relationships are very slim; which does hold some fact to most of you would agree. Slim, but still a good chance. Now I watched this movie where a guy who is deaf and can't talk falls in love with a women. The women loves him back also since he has the capability to put a smile on her face and make her feel happy. But half way through the movie she is forced to choose another men: Tall, fit, rich, can talk, and isn't deaf. She's clearly unhappy, but is forced to make the decision based on how society would think if she married the deaf and mute guy. The guy after being heart broken, does feel sad. But he still moves on with his life, by trying to stay happy as much as he can & help others out in the community like he always used to do. This basically gave me a reality check, that if people who have some kind of disability can move on with their life, then why can't I? This is the question I always ask myself, whenever I think hair loss has basically ended my right to live and enjoy life. But I still stick partially to my opinion that women make decisions based on how the rest of the society would think (not all women, but a majority of them). Men on the other hand would rather be pleased if they picked a women who they can trust. You see a lot of popular men with the nerdy, not so good looking, or unpopular girl; and most even go against their friends just to be with this girl. I haven't seen much of that dedication from the women side throughout my life. And here's a scene from the movie I'm talking about; it's Indian so most won't understand the language.
