Back when i was using liquid minoxidil my scalp would peel and flake like that.

I do not use minoxidil, it is free testosterone which, under the action of 5 reductase in the scalp, turns it into excess fat. I assume that I do not use enough Cyproterone Acetate or not enough Estradiol which allows the pituitary gland to produce its endogenous testosterone which is not bound into dihydrotestosterone.

Free testosterone which turns into dihydrotestosterone. Or cyproterone acetate itself is to blame.

Maybe I do not use enough estradiol and 4ml per day is very small in order to keep a good level of estradiol in the blood that will not allow testosterone to be produced and carry incoherent form

I'm waiting for my estrofem to come, which I ordered 10 days ago. When I took it, it wasn’t. I’m forced to take estradiol valerate

Have you ever had your hormone levels checked since being on your current regimen? Super curious if there's a sweet spot between E and T that you managed to hit.

True in most circumstances. Except I grew up with conservative christian parents who judge gay/trans people and also went to a religious school. And now I'm taking HRT and my views couldn't be any further from my upbringing, lol.

i don't know, estradiol creams/gels absorb right into the skin no problem, if your crushing a pill it's pointless just put it in your mouth.

Edit: i read estrogel as estradiol, my bad, estrogel needs to be applied to a large area of skin for it to be absorbed, rub it on your arm from your wrist all the way up, or on your inner thigh, somewhere where you have more fat on your body (but not the breast area)

How about mixing it in minoxidil and apply directly on the scalp? I don't want it to go systemic. Although, using it on the scalp would have some systemic effect, but the follicles would be at saturation; hence, 0.75 mg would be enough.

interesting, we should practice protein restriction (this is also shown to extend lifespan in animals)
- maybe its why so many homeless have great hair lol

@bridgeburn What happens if you stop your current regimen? Will you lose more hair because of the side effects of the meds or the natural production of DHT due to faulty genetics?

It would take some time for the testicles to start working again, basically I would go through menopause.. I don't know what would happen, it would depend on how much testicular function returns. It would be extremely risky to hair

i don't really have a diet now but i have a list of foods in my head that i will avoid like dairy and red meat for example.

I also have a list of bad foods (however, I write it all down), and I have my own anti-aging diet.. and other strategies

Some tiny hairs in the front center hairline came up.

Meanwhile my left side is getting just rekt.

It will probably take longer than 3 months if you're not taking finasteride.. and maybe you need finasteride to get past the fuzzies phase.. estriol is not that strong ..unless you take huge doses.
