Minx gave me more hair than baseline. First pic was me when I was 5 yo (so no Androgenetic Alopecia) second pic is a pic taken right now. As you can se my temples got fuller and that is because minoxidil turned many vellus that never went meant to be real hair to terminal ones

I think many ppl can still benefit from it. I was stuck with uneven hairline and after using minoxidil it turned most of the stubborn vellus hair terminal. I never had a decent hairline and I have a good amount of hair there after 2-3 months of adding topical minoxidil with tret
Agreed with everything you said, including tret, although its giving me eczema. Just trying to say that if most of someones vellus hair already turned terminal, and they use minoxidil (on HRT) mostly for maintenance, their need in minoxidil might be far less than they think, cause HRT provides maintenance by itself.

Yes but the issue is if you have been taking minoxidil for years and you stop it. It could be a disaster. Also yeah if you dont take minoxidil pre HRT it is not needed unless you still have vellus hair on hairline that was never meant to turn thick unless you use topical minoxidil with tret there.

Some ppl(like me) have uneven hairline and bit of receded temples since always, so realistically we cant do nothing to improve our hairlines other than using minoxidil to make natural vellus hair into terminal or hair transplant

Not bad hair, I cant see the hairline tho, which Imo it is the hardest to born with a perfect one
Ye, I regreted posting this. =))
Hairline was garbage, unfortunately don't have photos atm.

Ye, same problem. Kinda maintained the hairline after canceling minoxidil tho (even though hair color is a little lighter on temples now), mb because didn't shed too much. The hairline is still trash tho, and 4head is huge, but I'm pretty sure its meant to be like that.

Yeah i think dor cases like ours either topical minoxidil in temples and hairline or transplant.. or maybe both :D. I will do a transplant when I get a job. It shouldnt cost that much because I will need a small one

@Adri23 but wtf i want that f*****g 200 dht scalp reduction!! At this point i should be even worry about that 15 percent scalp dht left if i manage to take 2,5 mg a day!!
How high my scalp dht would be now assuming that at 0.5 mg of dutasteride and at 22 ng dl serum level dht my scalp dht was 50-60 percent reduced???

I think many ppl can still benefit from it. I was stuck with uneven and kinda recessed temples despite years of HRT and after using topical minoxidil it turned most of the stubborn vellus hair terminal. I never had a decent hairline and I have a good amount of hair there after 2-3 months of adding topical minoxidil with tret.

All of the hair on the hairline in both pics are thanks to topical minoxidil + tretinoin.
U see what u want to see but I see no difference.

I'll be on hrt for 3 years on june 6. Just so you know, my hair didnt improve till recently. But it is not because more time on hrt = more hair(on my case), but because I am slowly discovering what works and what doesnt.

For now:

Things that does not work for me:

-CPA( will never touch that ever again)
-Bica higher dosages than 12.5 mg(tends to spike my dht somehow)
-Dutasteride 0.5 mg(pure placebo for my hair)
- 1.25mg or less oral minoxidil (my mid scalp start to get worse)

Things that works(giving the best hair I've ever had):

-Estradiol injections(very consistent e2 levels)
-Bicalutamide 12.5 mg daily(good balance between good hair and skin and doesnt seem to cause any trouble. It also helps with oral minoxidil hypertrichosis)
- Dutasteride 1+ mg( basically to get real benefits and not placebo. Also reduces my shedding to like 10-15 hair at most in shower after two days of not washing my hair)
- Oral minoxidil 2.5 mg( good balance between hair and hypertrichosis. More than 2.5 mg gives me heart sides and wild hypertrichosis)
-Topical minoxidil 5% + tretinoin cream on temples and hairline( huge gains on hairline and temples. It was recently added and it gave me the best hairline I've ever had in my life).

Possible things that works for hair too by reducing inflammation(which directly impact hair health and 0 scalp tenderness);

-Antioxidants (Astaxanthin, vitamin C, vitamin E, GlyNac)
- Omega 3 DHA & EPA
- Vitamin D3+K2
- Having a healthy and balanced diet and limiting inflammatory foods and sugar

After 6 months of taking HRT i changed my regimen from dutasteride, oral mim, cpa and estradiol sublingual 6 mg(divided in 5 times) to dutasteride+ oral min + Bica, Een injections. My hair started to improve after 3-4 months, prob due to stopping cpa and having more stable e2 levels. It kept improving till 2 year mark where I added more bica and everything got fucked again, but I managed to fix it recently and now I have good hair again.
Today i took my last pill of cpa.Do you think its gonna improve at least after 3 months?
Most likely
i think this pattern is the same when i was on dutasteride and om so pre everything
I also had that pattern on dutasteride and OM

Honestly, i'll just try to maintain what i have atp. Fringe makes me look like I'm not bald, and thats enough for me. Recent health issues made me realise that im not immune to twink death (or death in general), so I decided I'd rather invest in health, than in beauty (which both refuse to coexist with each other in my case).
