f*** Propecia.. f*** the FDA.. f*** the Pharmaceutical companies and f*** the investors that make it happen.

I just found out first hand some disturbing sh*t. And no I won't say what, cause I'll send all the Propecia users here into a frenzy. No point.. you'll go into denial and whinge.

Hair now. Die later.

f*** em all.. Little wise men sitting on hill tops are looking more trustable.

I noticed your using minoxidil - did you know a long term effect of that is congestive heart failure? and water retetion in the lungs?

Both lead to early deaths too so chose your poison wisely - nothing in this world is free, fair or without consequence.

Now im being attacked like I made Propecia. Your right it is a poison.. it congests your mind though, and lets your rationality depart.. you end up attacking those who warn you in defence of your own poison.

Ah f*** it.. your all correct.. Propecia is the best! Couldn't harm a soul!

I made all this up for attention.. carry on.

Pfft.

Stop being a pussy and spit it out for f**ks sake, if you got something to say say it.

Enough of this attention seeking "chase me, chase me" bullshit.

If you think you found something out about propecia then either tell us or don't start a thread about it.

I never attacked you - show me where?? But I might start now.

Think about what you have done for a second. You've created a topic called f*** propecia, you have a rant for a few lines, then you don't want to say what triggered your rant in fear of a backlash.

Think about what you have written, go back over and read your posts -your acting like an immature and insecure person and you call us poisoned with propecia? Its pretty funny you've been a member for how long, act like this and expect respect?

It sounds like 'I know a secret and I want attention, but i won't say what it is'... reminds me of grade 1.

Yeh dude, tell us wats goin on? cause atm im sitting on the fence deciding whether to start back on propecia or not(my derm has strongly indicated against the use of propecia). If you got useful info, that could make my decision easier, i'd love to hear it.

Cheers mate

Shutup you whinging sl*t..

The story is:

I had coffee with a person who worked at Merck in Sydney, now in pharmacy. Obviously I threw the Propecia questions at him... Bla bla bla, till eventually I asked.

Me: "Ey, is the sh*t safe?"

His answer: "If you don't use it for a long time.."

Me: "What you talkin about"

Him: "Well after like using it for a decade.. it's been "gossiped" that the enzyme your blocking has an effect on your immune system. You end up copping a full blow to the system that normally happens over a period of time"

Me: What the hell you talkin about?

Him: Well, can you handle the flu?

Me: Yeah

Him: Imagine copping 10 flu's at once.

Me: It can do that?

Him: Yep

Me: How?

Him: Do you know how propecia works?

Me: Yeah..

Him: Well the type 2 it blocks has been said is a buffer between diseases and recovery. Eventually your system won't have that buffer or little buffer and at something like 40, you'll cop heart disease, thyroid disease bla bla all at once.. You might die.. the worse affect is Skin Cancer

Me: Then why the f*** is it on the market?

Him: You don't need to prove its safe in 10 yrs.. just now

Me: They'll get sued man

Him: No they wont.. theres sh*t that protects em.

(Conversation obviously not exact.. but the way I remember it)

as finasteride was developed in 93 we are past that 10 year mark by 3 years and these things would have popped up by now. i'm afraid what some pharmacist 'gossiped' to you about 'gossip' cannot be taken very seriously. moreover he said type 2 is a 'buffer between disease and recovery'. firstly that just does not make any sense. secondly whatever claim he was making about type 2 being involved in fighting disease has been proven wrong already by the existence of that tribe of men who never produce type 2. they are born without the ability and live a complete healthy life. hit someone like bryan up for the link, i dont know how to find it.

anyway, the optimistic of us expect HM to be out in 3 or so years, eliminating our need to take finasteride at all.

haircoverage you can't really expect a warm response if you post as you did. saying ' i know stuff about finasteride but i'm not gonna tell you what' is bound to annoy.

I'm a bit scared of propecia myself, but that line about "there's sh*t that protects them" is obviously hogwash. No major corporation would put something on the market knowing in 10 years they'll be faced with lawsuits all over the place. There's nothing that protects them in the U.S.; as for down under I don't know.

Mmmmm....

So the guy you´ve had a conversation with (please, tell me he had a fake beard or an moustache-nose-and-glasses on!!) was not only a Merck science-minion, but also a future-teller.

He positively know that this is going to happen *without any single medical case documented in the History of Medicine*.

That guy is fun-tastic!!

He can predict diseases and long-term effects before they happen!!

Does he live in an island?? Is he neighbour of the man who invented the water-powered engine??

But let me a final question: How the hell did you avoided the memory-eraser flash he threw at you at the end of the conversation?? ducking, rolling through the floor (as in the Cabal videogame)?? using a mirror or potent sun-glasses?

Sorry for the excessive sarcasm and irony, but, man, that story you´ve just told is such a serious bullshit that it gets to the point of being provocative.

It seems so close to one of those urban legends like "This is so serious, stop drinking coke after december, terrorist are going to inject poison in every batch of them. I know because a man with a mask came to my friend´s relative in the supermarket and beware him."

There have been reported cases of Immuno Diseases believed to be brought on by Finasteride use. Not sure that they've been able to directly link it quite yet and I don't know how frequent this symptom is occuring.

some people are going to develop auto immune diseases through no connection to anything else happening in their life. seeing as lots of people take finasteride it stands to reason that some of them will develop an auto immune disease, regardless of finasteride.

the only way to check if the two were connected would be to take two large groups of people, one on finasteride and one not taking anything and see how many auto immune cases present themselves in each group. my bet would be that the two numbers would be as close to equal as to make no difference.

I'm glad he came out with the thing at least.

As usual I'm pretty sceptical BUT I do remember when I went for my skin cancer checkup a year or so ago, the doctor told me to keep an eye on some of my spots and she said that males will develop skin cancer faster due to increased levels of Test in their skin tissues so maybe there is some concern in that area...

Rather than a slagging sarcastic conversation, i'd like to see some more insightful comments.. what do u rekon?
