Yes, I'd fully expect a couple of months yet before they actually review and announce all the findings.

In lighter news, I was examining my hair today in the mirror and my temples keep looking better and better from the minoxidil. I see I have even more hair growing in. This sh*t keeps up and I'll be (mostly) cured.

The reason I hope this lotion works out is for the anti-dht properties, honestly.

Yes, I'm in the same boat, I think I'm doing well off minoxidil, but it's not sufficient long-term.

Maybe I am missing something but I can't any information at all on Fidias website regarding Brotzu lotion or any hair loss product...am I missing something?

Fidia never released informations about the lotion on their website. Not even that they bought brotzus patent.

Yep, and that´s why I believe if trials fail, we will have no offical news from them. Just some more rumors, what might have happened.....

It was during the summer that someone was able to get a hold of a person in the PR department (or something similar) about the lotion instead of the generic email. She said roughly that information about the lotion would be released after the holidays. At the time people thought she meant one of the Italian holidays during late summer but it seems she most likely meant Christmas.

Why would they? It would be incredibly foolish to announce a product or details of one before a trial is finished to determine its effectivness. It would be embarrassing for a company of their reputation and size to announce and potentially hype a product only to learn after trials that it is a complete dud. If beps is real and Brotzus is truthful I expect it to be at least released in Italy in June at the latest if everything goes smooth. This is based if they release trial info in February. If it sells well enough and gets a good response in italy then they upscale to release in other markets.(since mass producing a liposome veichle is a challenge). That's my angle to it.

This gives me hope...im 6 weeks in with Minoxodil--so far seeing a lot of little vellus hairs i did not have and my hair is no longer shedding like before minoxidil...im hoping that this early positive signs means I'm going to have similar results to you...Honestly if it just fills in a little bit and maintains due to the length and texture of my hair I'm good for a few years.

But wouldn't they be expected to at least eventually have some news about the lotion regarding AA? Especially since there's some remote efficacy for very young children with AA who possibly can't do other AA treatments?

It's annoying how their secrecy both potentially legitimizes the product and potentially means it's a dud.

Everyone is flipping out...

Dont underestimate the powers of Tiger-Moms to bang down the door of Fidia to make them give us information

You think we are anxious? Imagine your five year old daughter tortured at school for no hair or eyebrows...

I don't have kids but i would literally cut someone to get a child a cure to baldness. Any child.

Im sure many of you feel same way.

Those Tiger moms are going to be dangerous in early 2017.

They are our best hope to get some information.

To be honest I think that June will be really late, I would say March/April but no later than that though who knows right? @beps63 is the only one who has inside information, so we have just to wait and see... If the lotion works as it seems it does, I´m pretty sure we will see that in Italian pharmacies at the very beginning of 2017 (or as I said before: March/April).

Not for nothing everyone should sign that petition

NOT that it will make a difference to FIDIA

BUT it might make an impression with the media at some point.

Based on what? Not trying to be an *** but on what do you base these expectations?

Since everyone is sharing their minoxidil experience... I am using the liquid version for a couple of weeks now, started twice a day, but now I am applying it only once over the night (scalp just got too stressed and itchy). Seeing some really really really really tiny hairs on my temples. I know it was slick bald because i tripple checked it before I started. Also on finasteride twice a week. So far so good.

Lets hope brotzu makes all this stuff obsolete ;) CANT WAIT. If I would knew that the trial went well, I could easily wait some more weeks or months .. BUT TELL ME IT WORKS AS PROMISED!

Can we please stop, or at least minimise, the baseless speculation now please. People who are acting like they have any kind of idea when this will be out, I'm looking at you. At first it was interesting, now you are just messing with newer members heads who take other members words as gospel.

I've also had pretty good minoxidil results - slowly heading from a NW3.5 to a weak/thin NW2 which would do me just fine. I'm on the big 3 though bare in mind, but I still feel like I'm missing something to really kick ***. If Brotzu's lotion has any synergy with minoxidil, or proves to be superior, then that would be fantastic.

Yeah, nothing important, but I think someone bought the "Brotzulotion.eu" domain. it's taken.

To be honest, it is completely possible that even if the lotion works, they may not release it.

They know the market that they are dealing with. As much as people would like to believe that this lotion would be a "gold mine" that's exactly what people said about minoxidil and propecia. Less than 10% of balding men (men being the overwhelming majority of hairloss sufferers) pursue treatment as it is.

With JAK inhibitors being a cure for pretty much all alopecias but Androgenetic Alopecia and their inevitable availability in the relatively-near future, they will definitely lose out to those as the lotion (as Brotzu said from the beginning) loses efficacy in older patients. Topical JAK will definitely have that market cornered.

For Androgenetic Alopecia, they definitely know that statistically, most men buy the "confidence" bullshit and aren't going to invest in something for their hair unless it provides full regeneration all the time, every time.

The majority of the market for this lotion is in current Androgenetic Alopecia sufferers who are seeking an alternative to finasteride and minixodil. Which, as I've said, haven't really been the resounding successes they were originally expected to be. Thus, it's entirely plausible they may decide the potential profits (or lack thereof) are not worth it in the long run.

We're getting down to the wire. I'd say if we haven't heard anything by February's end, it's likely they scrapped it.
