It's common tbh, women are probably sensitive to androgens like guys are. Most of the females in my family have poor density in their mid sixties. But they can still pass as having a decent amount of hair until maybe their late seventies/eighties before it starts really getting thin. Just like men it comes to the genitive draw. My great granfather and grandmother have sh*t hair genes. All in their mid sixties about, my grandfather and two brothers are nw7, one brother has average paced balding, one female has minimal hair thinning, another is thinning very fast.

Well, I come from Europe, from the heart of Europe. Here in my city baldness is rather rare. I would say that 10-20% of all men here are affected by a visible baldness. Norwood 3 vertex up to Norwood 6. 80% of all men I see on the street have absolutely great hair.

u must live in a city that's been isolated from the rest of Europe for decades. The only way within is a cross bridge, preventing norwooders from invading and potentially spreading their genetic disease.

Nope, it's a bigger city in europe :D

Trust me, baldness with a high norwood scale is rare...10-20 % of the population.

Let me guess, you're from Vienna?

If they don't use HRT, of course some sort of thinning occurs. However if I went to somewhere such as the mall, I would nonstop see women in their 60s who have a full head of hair. I legitimately rarely do see women who are thinning.

lots of women after 50 lose a lot of hair

you're just not paying attention

look at men around 60-90. I bet you 80-90% either have sh*t hairlines or terrible density

No! Most of them aren't completely bald. I'd say Norwood 3 vertex is most common balding pattern among whites. Many of old men have norwood 2 with or without crown thinning and some even dense Norwood 3 with no crown thinning.

No i do not. But you kinda said you are 100 percent safe from male pattern baldness if you have a juvenile hairline at 25 or 30 is safe. You never can be 100 percent safe no matter what age. Even if you are 45. You are more likely to keeep your hair but not 100 percent sure.
Had hair god hair at 40, losing all of my density and hairline by 42, never safe. Will say a Telogen Effluvium can hit and set you way back fast/uncover male pattern baldness that you might not have noticed for 15 years.

I don't know what causes or triggered your hair loss but it's not DHT - related if you don't see any improvement on finasteride. I saw your post and pics and I think your hair loss is chronic telogen effluvium or fungal infection. People with hair like yours are usually the one who never go bald.

I know something else is at work but I can’t deny the miniaturization. Finasteride is doing nothing. I had a biopsy for fungal, negative. My scalp is pristine. I’m clueless just shed a ton...

Indians don't. They're asian
I think he was referring only to East Asians (Chinese, Japanese, etc.)

I don't personally believe head size has anything to do with male pattern baldness though.

Ah OK. I would just say oriental to make the distinction. I live in an area thats about 75% Chinese. They seem to bald or thin at the same rate. The women even more.

I am curious and I have a question: Do men with juvenile hairlines ever suffer BPH?
