Most stem cell therapy's coming out in the near future (if they do) is really just going to maintain all of the hair you have from falling out. That's what it appears to be right now so that's the only reason im taking finasteride right now is so i can save as much hair as possible currently and switch...
Yeah im siding with you on that 20 year prediction. It kinda sucks since i'll be 44-45 by then but I assume technology will be far enough ahead to fix it. 20-30 years is a real good prediction. At least if I have kids they shouldn't have to worry to much about loosing hair lol.
(atlesat, the...
I believe prp works as a short term regrowth booster for your hair. Probably more associated with rogaine then finasteride. It's something that I believe you would use alongside rogaine/finasteride/nizoral and not by itself.
Now a stem cell/prp combo injection, ide like to try that.
I first noticed when i was 19 when my hair stylist said she would cut my hair to hide my faint receding hairline so probably
1. 18 give or take a year
2. 24 (almost 25)
3. Norwood 2 with diffuse thinning on top
Only on 1mg a finasteride a day but appears i've stabilized. It appears im slowly...
Your hairlines looking good right now it seems. Keep a very close eye on the 2 corners of your forehead. That was where I first started receding before my top started to diffuse.
Keep a good pic/memorize what it looks like right now so you can compare months later.
I waited till I couldn't wait any longer (started shedding in my late teens (actually mightv been sooner) and started finasteride when i was 23) and i have to say so far I wish I started back when i was like 20-21 or so. The only side effects i've gotten were lowered libido but whenever I quit they...
Alright, so we all know everyone on here is pouring $1,000's into possible treatments while we wait for the next 5 year deadline to come along and tell us its 5 more years to go. So, my proposition is that we try to form a team of people together and use donations to buy used (but good) lab...
24 yr old here, im still sewing my own to fill in the side temples/lower my hairline and ill be glad to let you know my experience when its done.
It's taking a lot longer than it should since im a newbie and have to go really slow to make sure I don't screw up alot + front hairline is most...
*If this works it won't be a cure for everyone, just the people that have enough hair left on their head to care about* Damaged structures would have to be rebuilt using stem cells if that's even possible.
Honestly they'll probably just make a cure to stop balding and then let everyone with...
Yeah im sure other guys feel the same way about the whole *putting on a fake disguise* but if its just to socialize and not get a lady then I see no harm.
Thanks for the reply haha. I realized my hair is only 6 1/2 inches long and I'de have to wait later in the year to have it cut. Fast forwarding to the present, i've ordered lace from hisandhers and the proper tools to ventilate hair. Im currently using my strawberry blonde wefted human hair i...
Anyone know if you can buy a lace skin alone? (edit: building lace frontal)
I've been looking to make my own partial hair piece for the front temples using my own hair (its monstrously thick everywhere except in the front) and im looking for any places that might be selling just the lace cap...
I believe the only way to regrow hair in area's that stopped growing hair is with some kind of stem cell therapy to regrow all the lost structures. What they're saying is like "this (unspecified organ) in the body still exists but it can't do its job anymore because its to damaged.
Now there...
I'll just say that if your hair is already pretty thin when starting get a cap for a few months till it regrows back. First two months on finasteride/rogaine/nizoral my hair shed quite a bit then around 3 months it stopped completely for months after and I actually got a lot of regrowth on my hairline...
